OCPS Being Sued

I read today that the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando is suing the Orange County School Board because in 2002 Ornange County voters passed a half cent sales tax to pay for 25 new schools.  As of today, only 1 school has been built.

 

I completely forgot that is what the extra sales tax was for!!  Did anyone else forget??  Why has it taken so long for action to be taken against the school board?

My Pit Bull is smarter than your Honor Student! As are both of my Boxers, for that matter. :) I'm obviously a dog person. I moved to Orlando from West Virginia over 7 years ago and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
