This is the 2nd straight week of heavy mountain snow. Avalanches are a serious threat. Grand snow totals hovering around 6-feet are commonplace in the Sangre De Cristo and San Juan Mountains.
6-feet(+) winners:
Silverton Mountain
Telluride
Wolf Creek
3-5-feet winners:
Crested Butte
Snowmass & Aspen
Monarch
Vail
Copper
Winter Park
Berthoud
Breck
A-Basin
Loveland
Keystone
Eldora
Prior to this and last week's snowstorms our statewide snowpack was sitting at 37% of average (poor). Now, snowpack numbers are close to 100% of normal. Two weeks; Back to Black. Enjoy the steep and the deep!
