Education, health care, and some of the most primitive farming strategies escape Ethiopa, a country that has over 34 million orphans in the Sub-Saharan region alone. Young Miki was one of those orphans. But throughout the many challenges in his life, Miki has never lot his ability to smile nor show all of us, the true meaning of love-especially on the anniversary of his arrival to America.

FOX 31's Josina Anderson talks with Colorado Crush QB John Dutton and his wife, Terina, about the adoption of their Ethiopian son, Miki.

Not nearly enough "feel good" stories out of the sports pages these days.

This one more than makes up for that lack.

Great segment, Jojo. Great, great interview. You are a true asset to MyFox.

In case anyone missed it, that website is:

That was warm. You forget sometimes how good you have it. How much easier your life is than other peole and that you should give back to the less fortunate when ever you can. Thats good stuff. It's good to see pro-athletes doing the right thing outside of sports.

There are a lot of athletes around doing great service to their community. Unfortunately those stories aren't always told; and I'm talking about the athletes that stay in the news more often with negative headlines.

Ya dig? Okay, I'll fall back now.
