Maybe you forgot, but the Nuggets could have been playing today. Game-7 was scheduled at Staples Center.
Instead, The Lakers opened up against the Jazz, while the Nuggets watched on TV.
This
franchise has a lot of problems, but all of the blame shouldn’t go to
George Karl. It starts with the players—specifically Carmelo Anthony.
Remember when we used to compare Mello with Lebron James?
There’s no comparison anymore—on any level.
It’s time for Mello to become more than a scorer. Great players make their teammates better.
Great
players lead by example on and off the floor. Great players pass the
ball and rebound. Great players play defense. Great players listen to
their coach.
Mello is far from great, but he still has great
potential. It’s time for Mello to be more focused on getting out of the
opening round of the playoffs than making the All-Star team.
He
wants to be the face of this franchise, but for the 5th year in a row,
he’s got egg on his face with another 1st round meltdown.
Mello
isn’t the only one to blame, but if he wants the Nuggets to be his
team, it’s time for him to start acting like it and playing like it.
