I heard that conservative protesters at an Obama rally (was that in the Bay Area?) were waving sink plungers, which gave me an idea:

Why not display a plunger on your vehicle to show your support for Osama's plan to "spread the wealth"?

I drive a company vehicle so I have to be careful about displaying McCain bumper stickers on it. But, hey, who can say anything about my having a plunger on the shelf inside the rear window?

My buddy, Steve, is a painting contractor in Gainesville. He told me that he drove around all day Tuesday with a plunger stuck to the roof of his van and that he got several honks and thumbs-up's from people.

As Steve said, the Joe the Plumber phenomenon could be anyone; fill in the blank: Joe the _______. Joe the Electrician, Joe the Painter, Joe the Salesman, etc., etc.

Osama stepped in it and it is incumbent upon the McCain campaign to drive it home.

Speaking of stepping in "it", I suggest using sink plungers (typically orange in color) and not toilet plungers (usually black) if you're going to display it IN your vehicle.

Honk for Joe!

Perhaps we should stick the plungers where the sun don't shine to see what we're really in for.

While I'm not displaying a plunger, I am displaying a bit of butt crack when I bend over as a way of showing my solidarity with Joe the Plumber.

You know where the appropriate place to stick the plunger, don't you, freak? If not, I can give you directions.

How about Joe the Criminal (go to school and then buy a license like EVERY other plumber, Joe).

Yeh YellowDuck! We know where to stick it but you are so slippery that we can't catch you long enough to do it!

And when are you going to stop drinking the liberal koolaid and know that he doesn't need the license until he buy's the business?!!

Floyd,

Just a note, if someone must use a toilet plunger, make sure it's not a used one! sick

Hey Donald - you are merely regurgitating the lame lib talking point (is there any OTHER kind of lib talking point?) which involves discrediting Joe the Plumber.

When the CRUX of the issue is Osama's pledge to "SPREAD THE WEALTH". This really has nothing to do with Joe; he is merely the representation of a normal "Working Joe" (which is how I describe myself).

Of course, you libs love nothing more than throwing out smoke screens to distract folks from the REAL issues - such as Ayers, Wright, Pflager, et al.

Good one, CM! You back in Z-town?

NO I am not yet in residence at Stately Crank Manor south, but will be before Halloween. I am now easing back into the culture.

And thank you Vittorio, I appreciate it. I've been following the news - watching John and Kelly most nights through the magic of the Internets, and I was blown away by the Fox13 coverage of the World Series.

I should probably blog about it.

Also, am I the only person who was somewhat encouraged that the Police Chief in Haines City hired a hooker? In the old days they used to expect to get them for free as a "courtesy" just like free donuts.

Glad to see the progress.

I am your normal, middle-class, "working Joe". But I am also a capitalist and believe that nothing good comes from socialistic entitlement programs. I believe in hunting down and killing terrorists like the little rats that they are (except that that statement is denigrating to rats). I grew up in a very conservative household and was fortunate enough to have had a conservative American Government teacher (a retired US Army colonel) who helped to show me the "right" way. Are there things that I would like to change? Absolutely. But NOT the kind of "change" being espoused by Hillarock Obaminton. I have lived in Florida for forty of my forty-eight years. I've been a big Pink Floyd fan since my teen years hence the moniker, FloydFreak. My friends call me Freak, Floyd, and FF. The libs call me a neocon. I wear that badge proudly. Please note that I enjoy engaging in spirited discussion - even with those with whom I disagree. There are a number of individuals on these boards whom I respect even if I DO think that they're out of touch with reality. Please note also that I do not tolerate personal attacks on my character. If you think that I'm full of BLEEP, you have the right to say so. But drag my character into the gutter and expect retaliation in kind with FloydFreak's own brand of sarcasm. Keep it civil and we'll get along fine. To those of you that see good in America and want the OPPORTUNITY for prosperity for all - and do not just seek to soak it to "the rich", I say God bless you. And God bless America!
