Why is it that Carmelo Anthony gets a DUI with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit and three weeks later is STILL driving? Caught early Saturday morning speeding around Denver? Why didn't he lose his license? And he supposedly did NOT get preferential treatment !! I thought it was manditory loss of license after a DUI charge, yet not one word about him still being able to drive/speed all over the place! Please, if that would have been anyone else, would we have been chauffeured to a luxury hotel and then have our car safely delivered back to us by a police officer? What a spoiled little brat. Goes to show what too much money at such a young age will get you, anything you want apparently. Shame on you Denver PD!

The special treatment I was speaking of was the fact that he was chauffeured to a luxury hotel that night and THEN his car was drivin to him by a Denver police officer. I've had numerous friends get stopped for DUI and their car was impounded and they were taken immediatly to the police station ,had to go through the booking process and then bailed out.All that happens before you are formally charged. If thats not special treatment, then I don't know what is. And yes it was reported on the news that his blood alcohol level was twice the legas limit.DPD released that blood level to the media.

Raina: because he's rich, famous and is a star in Caesar's mind-numbing diversion for the plebes. Carmelo is a foolish young man not being held accountable the same as would most others. It's sad and wrong. He won't learn and probably will come to a bad end.

Carmelo Anthony pays 94+ times the average tax payer (excluding endorsements) If the DPD chooses to cut him some slack, so friggin be it. If you are jealous, become a celebrity.

To workboy,
Jealous? Last time I checked, driving drunk was nothing to be proud of.It's pathetic and with no regard for anyone but yourself. Please,I've never had a DUI in my life,or been arrested for that matter. Are you old enough to be in here blogging? Because your comment regarding Carmelo was very weak, juvenile.Believe me,when he eventually kills someone drunk driving,(hopefully not one of your loved ones)and it's just a matter of time, maybe then he will be dealt with accordingly. It has absolutely nothing to do with the money he makes,he is not above the law.Next time i'm going through the KFC drive-through I'll try to explain it more to you.Hopefully you'll be working that day.
