While many of their party colleagues find the notion fanciful, they acknowledge that top Republicans hope the report will show just enough progress in Iraq to persuade millions of Americans to be patient about troop withdrawals and less critical of how the war is being run. (Read More)

The British Army has been defeated in Iraq and left with no option but to retreat from the country, claims radical Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. Violent resistance and a rising death toll among UK troops has forced a withdrawal, he said in an interview with The Independent.

“The British have given-up and they know they will be leaving Iraq soon,” Mr Sadr said. “They are retreating because of the resistance they have faced. Without that, they would have stayed for much longer, there is no doubt.” (Read More)

It’s now officially a mindcrime in the United States to violate Islamic law. At Pace University, a man has been arrested and will face “hate crime” charges for throwing a Koran into a toilet, after the university caved in to demands from Muslim students: Hate-crime arrests in Quran desecrations at Pace University.

NEW YORK (AP) _ A 23-year-old man was arrested Friday on hate-crime charges after he threw a Quran in a toilet at Pace University on two separate occasions, police said.

Stanislav Shmulevich of Brooklyn was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and aggravated harassment, both hate crimes, police said. It was unclear if he was a student at the school. A message left at the Shmulevich home was not immediately returned.

The Islamic holy book was found in a toilet at Pace’s lower Manhattan campus by a teacher on Oct. 13. A student discovered another book in a toilet on Nov. 21, police said.

Muslim activists had called on Pace University to crack down on hate crimes after the incidents. As a result, the university said it would offer sensitivity training to its students.

A report from organization Save the Children tells of how being a young Swedish girl today means feeling unsafe. The girls are scared of being raped, a possibility that appears very real to them.

In 2001, two out of three charged with rape in Norway’s capital were immigrants with a non-western background according to a police study. Norwegian women were victims in 80 percent of the cases.

A 17-year-old Somalian was convicted of the rape of a young girl in Oslo one year ago. The court stated that the rape was unusually brutal and lasted for several hours. The Somalian choked the girl for so long that the medical doctor who examined the girl said that she could have died. The girl is now suffering from severe psychological problems in the aftermath of the attack. The youth was sentenced to four and half years in prison. The sentence also included another rape, where his Norwegian-Moroccan friend raped a 13-year-old girl whilst the Somalian helped to threaten her and keep guard. She has been traumatized from the incident.

Unni Wikan, a professor of social anthropology at the University of Oslo, in 2001 said that “Norwegian women must take their share of responsibility for these rapes” because Muslim men found their manner of dress provocative. The professor’s conclusion was not that Muslim men living in the West needed to adjust to Western norms, but the exact opposite: “Norwegian women must realize that we live in a Multicultural society and adapt themselves to it.”

In Norway, it is probably unprecedented in the thousand years since the city of Oslo was founded at the end of the Viking Age that the indigenous population is being attacked on such a large scale for the sole reason of being white and Christian. And the government is doing… well, pretty much nothing really, except for hiding the problem as much as possible. This isn’t good enough. I have earlier called for the resignation of Swedish PM Göran Persson for his government’s total inability to protect a population that pays the highest taxes in the world. Perhaps the time has come for calling for the resignation of Norwegian PM Jens Stoltenberg and his cabinet, too.

According to Rehov, “I can see in any raping of a non-Muslim woman by a Muslim male a racist action, and it is high time for us to acknowledge and condemn it. The level of contempt towards non-Muslim women is the reflection of the level of hatred towards the society which creates equality between men and women.”

We are tired of hearing nonsense about “Islamophobia” and xenophobia while our children live in fear of Islamic terrorism and our daughters cannot go home after dark out of fear of gang rapes by Muslim youngsters who view them as whores. The purpose of the state is to uphold law and order and maintain the nation’s borders and territorial integrity. Western European governments are doing neither, yet are busy with political censorship and interfering with details of our private lives where they have no business.

Iran Ratchets Up War On U.S. ***With Update***

Is peace still possible with Al Sadr alive?

A suicide bomber killed at least two Sunni lawmakers at a Parliament cafeteria in Baghdad today. Just days ago Al Sadr forced a demonstration calling for a U.S. abandonment of Iraq, which would leave him and his parner Achmedinejad to pillage as much of the country as they could. In the wake of this event, fresh streetbattles with Al Sadr’s militia have erupted in Baghdad. 4,000 of Al Sadr’s Mahdi Army soldiers were trained in Iran. They continue to be armed by Iran.

The jig is up: there can be no victory in Iraq as long as Al Sadr is alive. There can be no peace without fighting Iran back.

Keep in mind that the only reason why neither have been done so far is due to pressure from the Left. Their constant counsel against aggession constantly leads us to suffering, and can only lead ultimately to defeat. Every time we employ a “liberal” instinct in this war, we are set back. And I’m talking about the big picture of this war, not merely Iraq.

This morning the U.S. military offered further proof of Iran’s undeclared war on our country, and its ongoing slaughter of young Americans in Iraq. Note especially the details of Iran’s hi-tech, super IED bombings of our troops.

Interestingly, just before speculation started that the Parliament bomber was a Sunni, and therefor not likely connected to the U.S. Democratic party’s military wing, the country of Iran, the U.S. military issued a statement that it’s intelligence indicated that Iran was indeed arming Sunnis as well. This would indicate that Iran understands that all that is needed to arm their allies in the Democratic Party is overall chaos in Iraq.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraqi militia fighters are being trained in Iran to build and use deadly armor-piercing roadside bombs and complex attack strategies against American forces, a U.S. general said in a new presentation of evidence of Iranian meddling.
Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said interrogations of fighters captured as recently as this month confirmed many had been in Iranian training camps.
“They do receive training on how to assemble and employ EFPs,” Caldwell said. EFPs - explosively formed penetrators - can penetrate armored vehicles with fist-size lumps of molten copper. U.S. officials say EFPs have killed at least 170 U.S. soldiers.
“We know that they are being in fact manufactured and smuggled into this country, and we know that training does go on in Iran for people to learn how to assemble them and how to employ them. We know that training has gone on as recently as this past month from detainees’ debriefs,” Caldwell said.
He would not say which arm of the Iranian government was doing the training but called the instructors “surrogates” of Iran’s intelligence agency. He said the U.S. military has evidence Iranian agents are active in Iraq in funding, training and arming Shiite militia fighters. He showed photographs of what he said were Iranian-made mortar rounds, RPG rounds and rockets found in Iraq.
Commanders of a splinter group inside rogue cleric Moqtada al-Sadr’s Mahdi Army have told TheAssociated Press up to 4,000 militia members were trained in Iran and have stockpiles of EFPs. Al-Sadr is believed to be hiding in Iran. The Mahdi Army commanders said Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard is running the training operation.

London Falling: “We Muslims…Have Been Ordered…To Do Brainwashing”

I’m repeating the January series of “Undercover Mosque” for those of you who didn’t see it. Given that in the last few weeks alone, England has banned teaching the Holocaust in school because it might offend Muslims students ( have you ever heard anything so…evil?) English schools have renamed the “The Three Little Pigs”, “The Three Little Puppies” for the same reason, and Hot Cross Buns were yanked as the traditonal Easter treat in a British hospital for the same reason, I thought it might be worth taking a look at just who is now wielding such creeping, unprecedented, religiously-based social and legal control over Queen and Country.

Religion Of Hate:

“The religion of Islam must rule the world”.”Take that homosexual man and throw him off the mountain”. “Beat and kill that dog, that woman”. “We love the people of Islam, we hate all others” “Whoever changes his religion from Islam, kill him”

No this, isn’t a Muslim country. Yet. It is typical preaching in a Wahabist mosque in London.

And by the way, how can such an immensely huge and strong movement, growing in leaps and bounds by the day, which stands against everything Lefist Hollywood claims to stand for - fiercely stand for - woman’s rights, freedom from persecution for gays, etc., how can a movement sweeping the world with such force, go entirely unchecked, and even more sickly, whose murderous members like Osama Bin Laden and Yasser Arafat are even romanticized by Hollywoood? ( One prominent director told me he thought Osama Bin Laden was clearly the new Che Guevara, a hero for his fellows on the left to quietly rally around. He even said he “had the right look, he’s dashing” )

Why….don’t….they…Oh right, they only fake being tough guys and gals in the movies, and to them the only legit work for social good involves photo shoots, tv commercials and concerts with cool rock stars. Or tragic, dramatic, but safe third world backdrops. And of course, Hollywood only fights enemies that can’t fight back. Things like temperatures and small African armies and diseases. If the enemy can’t fight them, they’ll fight the enemy. Just like when Matt Damon was asked to go to war, he turned into a shrieking little EDIT and insisted that two women go in his place. It was hilarious, watching his oily ass slickly try to make it seem okay that his only response was: “Please, take the chicks, not me.”

Tom Lantos, D-San Mateo, just back from a trip to Syria that sparked sharp criticism from Republicans and the Bush administration, suggested Tuesday that they may be interested in taking another diplomatic trip - to open a dialogue with Iran.

The Democratic speaker from San Francisco and Lantos, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, were asked at a press conference in San Francisco Tuesday whether on the heels of their recent trip to the Middle East they would be interested in extending their diplomacy in the troubled region with a visit to Iran.

"Speaking just for myself, I would be ready to get on a plane tomorrow morning, because however objectionable, unfair and inaccurate many of (Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's) statements are, it is important that we have a dialogue with him,'' Lantos said. "Speaking for myself, I'm ready to go -- and knowing the speaker, I think that she might be.''

Pelosi did not dispute that statement, and noted that Lantos -- a Hungarian-born survivor of the Holocaust -- brought "great experience, knowledge and judgment" to the recent bipartisan congressional delegation trip to Israel, the Palestinian territories, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia in addition to Syria.

"I find the president of Iran's remarks to be so repulsive that they are outside the circle of civilized human behavior,'' Pelosi said, referring to Ahmadinejad's past comments that Israel should be wiped off the face of the map and his questioning of the existence of the Holocaust.

"But a person of Mr. Lantos' stature and personal experience is saying that -- even as a Holocaust survivor and even recognizing the outrageous statements of the president of Iran -- it's important to have dialogue. I think that speaks volumes.''

Pelosi was criticized by President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and other members of the administration for meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad, who the administration said has meddled in the politics and fomented violence in Iraq and Lebanon and is a state sponsor of terrorism. Other Republicans, however, also visited Syria during the current congressional recess. One of those lawmakers, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Vista (San Diego County), visited Syria a day after the Pelosi delegation and said the Bush administration should be talking with Assad as a way of trying to bring peace to the region.

The president also has tried to isolate Iran, saying its government, too, has aided attacks against Americans in Iraq and elsewhere while ramping up its efforts to build nuclear weapons.

Lantos said that for more than a decade, he has been trying to obtain a visa to visit Tehran with the help of former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan -- and to date neither he nor any other member of Congress has been successful.

Pelosi said that throughout the congressional delegation's recent Middle East trip, "every place we went we had a constant message: the safety and security of Israel, fighting terrorism.''

"There was, of course, a shadow over all of it, Iran: Iran's support of terrorist groups is something that must be stopped,'' she said. "Iran's quest for a nuclear weapon is something that must not happen and we must stop them with the strongest of diplomatic measures.''

Lantos noted that "with the speaker's support,'' he has co-sponsored legislation in the House that calls for making available to all countries -- including Iran -- nuclear fuel for peaceful purposes under international oversight by establishing a "nuclear fuel bank."

"So if the Iranian president says that he is developing (nuclear material) for peaceful purposes, we are assisting him in that process,'' said Lantos, who anticipated the legislation could pass as early as May.
