I think it is crap too. I am hoping at least Jordin will win now. Who is going to but Blakes beatboxing stuff if he wins. You can only use that kind of stuff in certain songs. I really thing Blake will win though the way American idol this year has been a joke.

Does anyone in Denver hear Taylor Hicks on the radio here? I don't. He is one of the Idol finalists that more or less sink into oblivion after the competition is over. The only ones I know of who have gone on to make a name for themselves would be Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, who is has found her niche big time in Country. It seems that the ones who do well for themselves after the show are people who do not win the title, such as Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Pickler, etc. I agree with Scribe that Melinda and Lakisha have nothing to worry about- I am sure by now some big name producer such as Quincy Jones or Clive Davis have taken them under their wing and I fully expect to hear them on the radio in the future in some capacity. Will anyone buy a CD of Blake Lewis doing beatboxing? I guess the teenyboppers would. I think the producers of this show need to totally reevaluate where this show is going for next year, and definately make some major changes in the voting system, possibly not allowing people to text message their votes.
