Give me a break. Dude gets stopped with TWICE the legal limit of booze in him, THEN gets a ride to the hotel where his wife(?) is at, and now the justice system spits in our collective faces, gives him PROBATION, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND A $1000 FINE?!? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! Then the judge says there was NO special treatment?!? Of course not, yer honor, you'd do that for ANYONE, wouldn't you? No ride downtown in cuffs and booking, that ever important mug shot to be SPLASHED in the media. No. How exactly does the police department explain that? No impoundment of his vehicle? Then this wackjob of a judge lets him walk. I'm sorry, is it only me? Am I the only one that sees a problem here? Guess what, if it were YOU that got stopped by the cops for DUI, never mind with TWICE THE LEGAL LIMIT, your EDIT would be IN the back of the patrol car, and IN jail where it belongs. THEN you would LOSE YOUR LICENSE (as you should) and GET A BIG EDIT FINE. Your life would basically suck for quite a while. But NOT for an NBA player. Lesson learned here; if you are an athlete you can do ANYTHING YOU WANT TO. That is exactly what the Denver Police Department and the judicial system has shown.
