I bought some new duds for work. That's how I spend my tax stimulus cash. And, trust me, it wasn't near enough to cover what I needed. It's not cheap dressing for TV!

How did you spend your tax stimulus cash?

Are you saying that the station does not supply your outfits? You need a union that will demand that on your next contract.

Nope. I have no clothing allowance. Fact is, very few stations provide clothing allowances. Maybe I should start the Tom Sussi Clothing Allowance Fund? I accept checks, cash and certified money orders.

I would love to tell you that I spent it on something even if it was gas or a bunch of now&laters, but I would have to get the check first to be able to do such things. The IRS screwed us up completely this year and so far after almost 20 weeks we still haven't gotten our federal return back much less a stimulus check. Sure hope those taxpayer's advocates do what they say they do.

I took mine to the Bahamas and spent the whole thing on cigars and booze! Not a PENNY of it is back into the economy!

I figured hey.. if our elected officials can do it.. so can I!

BTW- If we are so able to push out checks to the people like this, maybe had we not taken it from them in the first place they might have spent it here anyways! Now lets see.. I pay taxes on my income.. then govt. sends me back part of that and calls it income AGAIN and will tax me for it later? Like the death tax! Everything in the estate has already been taxed at least once, then when I die... we get nailed at even a higher rate once again?

Nope.. not spending a dime of it here! Had I spend it here govt would have just taken it back from the business where I spent it! Taxing the same dollar over and over!
