hi all,

Well, as stated, tommorow i will be married 27 yrs. Unfortunately hubby and I wont be spending it together. See his father is in S. Dakota , dying of cancer, the cancer is consuming his whole body. Hubby went to see him in hospital for Fathers Day, thought he was doing better, and by the time he got back to Fla. His father took a turn for the worst.  Of course in this economy, money has been real tight. Hubby tried to rent a car to drive to S. Dakota, but with no major credit card, he was denied a vehicle, I guess cash isnt good enuf these days. So he is driving the best vehicle we own, to S. Dakota, and when word comes I will be hustling to fly out to S. Dakota, for services.

I request your prayers for Hubbies Dad, that he has peaceful last days and can enjoy his children, for these last days of his. And for the safe arrival of my husband, in said S.Dakota.

I have enjoyed blogging with you all, and I may be gone for a bit...but i will be back... ut oh (lol)

For Pops.....Thanks Dad for always accepting me as your daughter -in law..it meant so very much to me , and I love you so much for that simple gesture. I'm gonna miss bashing..good ol mama in law together LOL

For Hubby.....Please arrive safely, Happy Anniversary, even though it doesnt seem to happy at this time, but know I will always love you. You are a good son, father and mostly husband. I did right in choosing you, to spend the rest of my days with.

Twizled...sorry to hear about this and You got it I will keep you and your family in my prayers. My heart goes out to you. Just think he will be in a better place and someday we will all meet in that wonderful Paradise. AND WITH ALL THAT...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY...I wish I can offer you more but prayers are always a wonderful thing. BE SAFE...AND TAKE GOOD CARE.

So sorry Twiz. I just lost my Mother in March and I took several trip to Ohio and back before she finally passed away. These are always the hardest things to deal with.

Not sure it will help much coming from me but blessings on you and your family Twiz. I hope your father in law has a peaceful passing and that your husbands journey is a safe one. I feel for you and understand well what this pain is. I lost my Mom on our 23 Anniversary but I see it as just one more reason to celebrate that day. Not only a GREAT marriage but the LIFE of a GREAT WOMAN too.

On our 20th wedding anniversary ...my mother in law passed, and i was so very thankful that God did not chose to take him on our 27th. anniversary, so 1 prayer has been answered Ty Lord.
Again everyone I thank-you for your support , prayers, and friendship.
Hubby has arrived safely in chicago and is on his way to S.dakota now. with his brother and sister

Twiz, my prayer is that God will surround you, the hubby and family with comfort and assurance of His grace and peace, and that during this time of grieving that you will find joy in the midst of the sorrow. May the peace of God that passes all understanding shine upon all of you, and continue to cause you to grow. Amen.

Twizlled, I am so sorry to read that you and your family are going through this right now and that you couldn't go with your hubby. Our family will be praying for you and your family. And hopefully you won't mind, but I will add your prayer requests as well to our prayer group. May God give you the strength you need to help you through this difficult time. Please keep us updated.

well, hubby has arrived safely, his father is not doing well at all. A big difference in 2 weeks time. The hospital is trying to make him as comfortable as possible. I expect to be going to s. dakota very soon.

I'm just a United States citizen, wondering what the heck is going on these days, and looking to find some intelligent people, to possibly find a solution to this mess, so that everyone can really live the American Dream. I believe brainstorming can solve alot of problems, if we can keep our egos aside.
