John McCain Isn't A War Hero, He's A FRAUD !

If John McCain Is Such A War Hero, And So Much For The Veterans Why Was He In California When The New G.I. Bill Was Passed For Veterans of Armed Forces ? I Am A Senior At UCF And Major In Political Science-International Relations and Comparative Politics and A Veteran Of Foreign Wars (Iraq with 3rd Infantry Division Ft. Stewart, We Were The First To Cross The Border Into Iraq). I've used the G.I. Bill The Last Year(2007-2009) While Attending UCF Finishing My Bachelors Which Will Be Done In The Spring '09. I Will Be Attending Boston College In The Fall For Graduate School. This New Bill Is Awesome,  And It Ensures I Will Not Have To Take Out Any Student Loans, Unless By Choice! It Will Pay My Tuition, Up To A Cap, And Provide Me With Allowance (Current G.I. Bill= $1,101.00 allowance.... New G.I. Bill= Tuition, Books + Monthly Allowance Depending On Your Location) You Had Bipartisan Views On It, With Two Of The Greatest Bi-Partisan Senators In The Senate; Republican Senator Chuck Hagel Of Nebraska (who's accompanying Democratic Presidential Nominee Senator Obama in his overseas trip to the middle-east) and Democratic Senator Jim Webb of Virginia helping to get it passed. The Bill is one of the few POSITIVE accomplishments Congress Has Been Able To Achieve, With President Bush In Power. Although Bush  Signed It, Where Was Senator John McCain, The Supposed Candidate For VETERANS ? IN CALIFORNIA AT A FUNDRAISER ! He Believes Veterans Should Have To Serve More Than 1 Tour, And He Wants To Continue To Use This As An Incentive To Get  PeopleTo Join The Service.... hmm.... Sounds Like A FRAUD 2 ME ... This Is Why He's Not A Maverick, This Is Why He's Not A War Hero...  This Is Why He's Bush 3.0....This is Why He's A FRAUD !!!

What a shame. So liberal that you're willing to besmirch the name of a war hero.

Why would you put so much work into typing every word with a capitol letter? Besides making it a pain in the neck to read it also takes away from your credibility, as if slamming a war hero didn't do it already.

You are a young punk who thinks he knows everything. You can't believe for one second that McCain's service to this country and him being tortured as a POW does not make him a hero. Regardless of his political stances and record, his military record is unblemished. Would you be able to endure the torture he endured? I doubt it. I don't care if you served in the military, you never even got close to what he endured. Go back and look at old news reels of those POWs and read some of their stories and then come back and post this. You make me want to puke. And, who paid for your education? It wouldn't be through the VA would it?

Well, "GRASSHOPPER", I see you're back in your usual holier than thou form.

You're quick to mock John McCain but nowhere do I see any reference to "OBAMA'S LACK OF A MILITARY HISTORY". I said "but nowhere do I see any reference to "OBAMA'S LACK OF A MILITARY HISTORY".

Grasshopper, may I suggest reading "The Greatest Generation". For a "know it all" you sure have a lot to learn.

Boston College is a good school....try not to ruin its reputation.

Ummm, McCain Actually Was Not Too Smart For Volunteering To Stay (he proved that in the naval academy by staying out partying and coming in late the next morning).... I Went To A Independent Political Conference In Washington in May '08 And Senator Webb (D-VA) Brought Up A Great Point... "what has this country done for YOU lately" Do Me A Favor Randy, Sit Back And Think About What This Government Has Done For YOU Lately. Gas Prices Have Skyrocketed, We're Coming Off The Worst Month Since The Month Following The Great Depression, and IF John McCain Is Elected President and WHEN We Invade Iran, It Will Only Drive Gas Prices Up Higher Due To Lack Of Production ! Furthermore Who Is To Say The United States Had Any Right To Invade Vietnam In The First Place? Thats Why They Got Their Butts Kicked,Had To Evacuate, And His 5 1/2 Years Was Wasted ! Its People Like You That Think Everything The United States Has Ever Done Is Right And Moral... You've Got To Be Neutral In Politics, Thats Why I Know You Have No Education.. Do You Know How Reagan Sold Arms To The Middle East, Then Used Proceeds To Fund Nicarguan Contras Against Their Government ? Probably Not, So Do Some Research And Discover How The United States Really Is... Then You Will Discover That Maybe Rev. Wright's Comment Weren't So Farfetched (Britain apologized for invading Iraq on false intelligence reports and finding no wmd, United States didnt! and you wonder why people hate us!)..... His Delivery Was Wrong But All He Was Stating Was "Do Onto Others As You Want Done To You" And That Is What 9/11 Displayed !

For a senior at UCF your writing skills are poor. You must not have taken any English courses. Your one long paragraph is quite tedious to read.

Hey Lekvarcookies !! I Don't Need To Bring Up Obama's Lack Of Military History !! Because Where Obama Lacks Military History He Makes Up For It In Judgement ! He Knew The War Was a Bad Idea, Just Like I Did (of course I had just enlisted). Furthermore John McCain's Military Experience Doesn't Qualify Him For Anything, Listen To The Great General Wesley Clark's Comments.Many Officers Can Fly A Fighter Jet Over Enemy Lines, Get It Crashed Down, Survive, And Become A POW; look at Rescue Dawn (i know its a movie, but im figurately speaking) That Doesn't Neccessarily Qualify You For The Highest United States Office ! Look At The Mistakes This "War Hero" Has Made On The Campaign Trail While Making Speeches, Confusing Sunni's And Shiite extremist, This Guy Is Obviously Too Old....... If He's So Good and Such A "Maverick", Why Did He Get Totally BLOWN OUT In 2000 By A President Who's Approval Rating Is 28% ? I'm An Independent But This Guy Is Totally Off His Rockers... I Would've Looked @ Romney Or Paul... But Republicans Are Obviously Pissed At This Choice.. Look At Different Mike Duncan Interviews (the ones Fox News try to hide), Its Pretty Obvious The Party Is Not Happy....

Like I said, you are a PUNK who knows nothing. I could care less what the government has done for me lately. In fact I wish the government would stop doing what they set out to do on a socialistic agenda. I don't want health insurance from them, I don't want them telling me what I need to drive, or what my thermostat needs to be set at or what I have to pay in taxes to give to SOBs that don't want to work or pay taxes.
John McCain is not my choice for the GOP ticket but he deserves the utmost respect for his service to this country. If you want to challenge his political views and agenda that is one thing but YOU HAVE NO CLUE to what being a POW means. NO CLUE! These old war birds around these parts are going to render you into a lard bucket...you better watch out...I see them coming.

Further more I doubt you ever served in the cub scouts let alone in the 3rd infantry...because if you were former military you would have respect for a POW. No soldier I ever met in my lifetime ever ever denounced or placed ridicule on any soldiers time in captivity. I have known prisoners who walked on the Bataan Death March, so don't even think I don't know.

"Because Where Obama Lacks Military History He Makes Up For It In Judgement !" you're kidding right? Osama wants to tax us to death, or have you not been reading these posts? Thats good judgement in your eyes? History tells us people dont like taxes, let alone more of them.
And any person that has FOUGHT for our country, and became a POW will ALWAYS have my gratitude and RESPECT. Whether we were right or WRONG no matter, THEY SERVED FOR OUR FREEDOM! You know the ones you enjoy today? I dunno who brainwashed you, becuz you certainly don't seem very American to me.

UCF... While being a former POW doesn't technically qualify McCain for the presidency, I challenge you to tell me how it *disqualifies* him either. Plenty of past presidents have had bad things happen to them.

George H.W. Bush's plane was shot down during a combat mission in WWII. Should that have disqualified him from running for president?

John F. Kennedy's PT-109 boat was run into and smashed up by a Japanese destroyer in the dead of night back in WWII as well. Should this have disqualified him from running for president?

Bill Clinton ran like a little (self censored) to Canada to avoid the draft during the Vietnam War, and didn't come back until after it was over. Now, this SHOULD have disqualified him to run for president, but it didn't.

So please, enlighten us. How should being a POW for over 5 years disqualify McCain for the presidency?

If you need extra support in your little hate fest the department head of the economics school is also a big Bush hater (he was in line for a job in Al Gore's cabinet) ... I find your tails to be both interesting and very disturbing...you claim to be from the 3rd infantry but show no pride in displaying the name of your unit (read about that unit on the web perhaps ?) ....so what army was your division in 1st ? 3Rd ? What division was your unit in mech infantry , air cavalry ? ...
If you can attack McCain for not paying benefits to your ex girlfriend (the “bill” was a scam!) I think I am well with in my rights as a DAV to question your “vet” status.

Seriously? That's your point? How about not raided my home, killed my kids in front of me, and forced me to serve in their army? How about allowing me to start and run my own business, and succeed or fail on my own accord? How about giving me the right to laugh at a punk like you but not the right to walk over and shoot you in the head just because I don't like you?

I honestly don't believe you are a college grad or that you served in the military. A grad wouldn't have such a elementary writing style and poor punctuation. A military man would have a TREMENDOUS respect for any POW.
