What do you think the Colorado Rockies will do to rebound from their 13-1 loss in Game 1 of the World Series? What happened to the Rockies?

who cares...there are more important things in life to worry about.

Denver drops 10 IQ points for every game won towards the championship.

I am sick of hearing about the rockies...about what to wear to support the rockies..."we" didn't do anything...
"they did" -- its not your win, its theirs. You just sat on your butt, drank beer and wore purple.....and you are proud of that?!

I think CO_NTG is a Sox fan!! Just kidding.
Boy some one wet there bed last night.(CO_NTG) Do you think anyone is trying to take credit for what all those boys did. NO, and you know it… so stand up and pull those tightly twisted panties out of your crack and have some TEAM SPIRIT!

As for the Rockies, that loss is OK. I think they where nervous, a little dusty, and lost a little momentum. I think they might have needed that loss to wake them up a little. We still have six more games to play hopefully we only need four more.

Come on!!! ROCK there SOX off!!! Go Rockies!!

I'm no sports fan, and once again we see that the Rockies draw little interest in the QOTD comments.

But, I do think is was nothing more than suffering from a week of cooling off. They played last night and warmed up. If they are a good team, and I believe they are, they will play better tonight and might even win. I'm hoping they do.

It's BAD KARMA! If Know baseball ,they are very suppositious people. the Rocks better make things right with their fans after the ticket fiasco or else....... BAD KARMA......better make it right.....

Why should I have team spirit?..the win or loss of the world series/superbowl/stanley cup HAS ZERO EFFECT on my life.

Im not a fan of any professional sports team-- they take our tax dollars to build a stadium, so they can bump up the prices...and try to copyright a term like "ROCKTOBER".....its all greed, and you saps just keep shoveling money at them.

I sick of the news stories 90% of the time its something to deal with the rockies...ITS WORTHLESS NEWS-- people painting their houses purple, why jonny has number 46 written on his forehead, why billyjoe got arrested jumping on a cop car....

I can't wait for the rockies to lose...Im hoping for a sweep by boston-- so it will just end.

Jeez CO NTG did someone shove a baseball bat up your rear end some time ago? I think its time to pull it out and lose the negativity! people are excited about their states baseball team! and theyre probably not gonna settle down just because it has no effect on YOUR life... the Rockies are making sports history! and if you hate it so much stay out of the sports section of the blog site!

On another note... i agree with Renee, they lost their momentum in the break but hopefully well see them start it up again! GO ROCKIES!

I've never paid a dime to watch a professional sports program, and I don't drink beer, or waste my time watching it on TV, but I have half a brain enough to know it is important to a lot of people and that the money they shovel at it gives other people jobs. Are there more important things going on in Colorado? You bet! But you wouldn't pay to watch that, so the news folks aren't going to carry it.

I think we could spend hours and hours reporting on the postitive aspects and sacrifices made for the war in Iraq (by people who do believe in it - yes we are out there), but nobody would watch it. They would watch some shock an awe video of people dying, but gee, there just isn't enough of that going around right now. So, we have the Rockies. Go Rockies!

BOY! WHAT A SHAME. I HAVE NEVER HEARD SO MUCH WHINNING IN ALL MY LIFE. DO YOU GUYS REALIZE HOW LUCKY YOU ARE TO HAVE SUCH A YOUNG TEAM THAT HAS COME SO FAR IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. LIVING HERE IN BOSTON, IT TOOK 86 YEARS FOR US TO WIN OUR FIRST WORLD SERIES. THANK GOD FOR THE ROCKIES, YOU ARE NOT THE MAJORITY. YEAH IT'S A BIG MONEY THING THESE DAYS. ON E-BAY, THERE WAS A SEAT BEHIND HOME PLATE GOING FOR $20,000. THAT SUCKS. I HAVE NEVER BEEN A SPORTS FAN. WHEN I CAME TO BOSTON, PEOPLE TOOK PRIDE IN THE RED SOX. NEVER COULD UNDERSTAND IT. A FEW YEARS AGO I WENT TO 1 GAME. I BECAME HOOKED. THIS SEASON I WENT TO 6 GAMES. (I WOULD HAVE BEEN TO MORE, BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS SOLD OUT.) LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE BEING AT FENWAY PARK TO WATCH A GAME LIVE. I LIVE 2 BLOCKS FROM FENWAY PARK. I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE THEM IN THE SPRING AND SO GLAD TO SEE THEM LEAVE IN THE FALL. THESE DAYS IT'S A ZOO AROUND HERE. BUT IT'S FUN! IF WE SWEEP, IT WILL BE OVER FOR YOU ON SUNDAY. I HOPE NOT. SO CHEER THEM ON AND PUT YOUR PURPLE ON. SMILE THE NEXT FEW DAYS, THE WORLD WILL BE WATCHING YOU.....
