Republican presidential candidate Tom Tancredo of Colorado unveiled a new TV ad that's called "Tough on Terror." It started running in Iowa this week where Tancredo is campaigning.

It depicts a terrorist who plants a bomb in a crowded shopping center in the US, and it criticizes politicians who aren't working to stop people from coming into this country who want to kill.

RIGHT ON! It’s extreme but the possibilities are REAL and all of what he said COULD HAPPEN! And there is a strong LEFT WING force out there that wants to allow it, for the sake of being humanitarians?

I know he will not become President but consider how much safer the Country would be with him!

The only reason that this is a controversial add is because it speaks the truth... It depicts exactly what will happen if the lunatic far leftists get their way.

I totally agree with it. It speaks the truth and the problem is America doesn't want to hear the truth. Everyone believes in the out of sight out of mind attitude. If we don't speak of it it won't happen. This is wrong. I am for the Tancredo Team!

i think what we dont understand is that anything is possible but probability is never guaranteed. i dont underdstand why americans wont admit that there was available intelligence before 9/11 & pearl harbor. if americans are unsophisticated enough to be scared into being under the conrol of a neoconservative regime than we have really long way to go. to think that we blame border control for terrorism is reprehensible. what about the exile taken in mexico & central america after WWs I&II? its scary that terrorism exists. its scarier that a politician would take us for fools & blame lower class mexicans for terrorist invasion. its scariest that many americans would elect these fearmerchants.

It is now clear that Tancredo's concern with the "porousness" of the US borders has gone from a healthy concern into deep clinical obsession. The underlying message in his add is simple, "Vote for me or you'll die." Manipulation of the masses through fear mongering is as old as time itself and it works really well. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of this as Nov. 08 looms.

This ad is right on the money!. It is rare nowadays to see a political ad that speaks the truth. The reason the ad is so controversial is because it states what people on the left don't want you to know. for those who think Tom is picking on immigrants I advise you to talk to border patorl agents who have encountered Arabs sneaking in with mexicans.

God Bless Tancredo. He is exactly what we have needed for years. A politician who is not afraid to state the clear and present truth and reality of our situation. If it had been any less extreme it would not have grabbed the attention of so many people, it should not be taken as an extremist hate message. Just because others are afraid to admit to it does not make it any less of a posiblilty. Tancredo is the voice in the back of many peoples minds that they try to suppress, but it is his train of thought that Americans need to adopt. While he is a long shot, hopefully at the minimum his presence has made people consider how precarious our situation is.

He is right on! I am so tired of the "spineless" politicians who made so many promises and do nothing for the common "American citizen". When are they going to start doing what Americans want rather then bowing to the pressures of the "money" and "lobbyists" in this country. Thank goodness for people like Tancredo who is not afraid to bring to the forefront the problems of open borders. I have nothing against following the rules and becoming citizens legally.

The ad is right on target. The reason it is so controversial is because it shows the truth which is something that Democrats and Most Republicans can not tell or do in their ads.
This is an ad that shows an issue in a non touchy feeling ie Disney way that everybody seems to think is the right way that is why it is controversial.
For those who think Tom is picking on illegal immigrants I advise you to talk to border patrol agents who have encountered arabs from teorrist countries traveling with groups of mexicans along the US border.

The ad rings of truth, but just pointing out the 'wimpy politicians' doesn't solve the problem, nor does it make him the better candidate. What EXACTLY does he intend to do to combat terrorism? I wish politicians would get over themselves and stop mud slinging and start truthful information slinging! I'll need ALOT more information before I 'sling' my vote in ANY direction!
