Picketers spent part of the weekend outside the home of a contractor who is helping to build a new Planned Parenthood office.

He’s not a doctor, or a person employed by Planned Parenthood.

Picketers carried signs of dead fetuses in front of the man's home. It was upsetting to many people in the neighborhood.

SEE THE STORY

What do you think about this contractor as a target of an abortion protest?

The point is not to grab attention the point is to show the truth! Abortion is the legal taking of a human life!

As for protesting the builder, it is probably the wrong person to protest… He’s only trying to earn a living by doing what he does… build. Sad that he’s building a place to take lives, but it’s his choice.

These people have gone way too far. Not every woman entering a Planned Parenthood is there for an abortion. These clinics also provide many low-income and uninsured women with much needed health care. Cervical Cancer can be treated if caught early, and without Planned Parenthood many women would not be able to afford the yearly test done to detect the disease. These clinics are important, without them many women would not recive proper healthcare, and if some choose to have abortions that should be a choice of their own (not some idiot holding a picket sign, Don't you people have jobs?).

yes, this is going way too far, and just because you are pro-choice does not give you push your views on someone that may not share it. He is just trying to make a living, and you should protest or lobby the people that can change it if you want that. I am pro-choice and I don't go up to you and push my view.

This man lives in Highlands Ranch and is not struggling to make a living and doing this job in desperation. He said he spoke with his business partner when asked to help build a new Planned Parenthood and they decided to do it, even though they knew it would be controversial. The Colorado pro-life community is doing the right thing in not allowing him and others to help build a child-killing facility in tranquility.

You are right in the sense they nee to protest the persons who can make the difference!
AND You don’t push your views on me? Then you shouldn’t mind if laws change to protect the unborn person as a person instead of a fetus? Your view, sir, is up in the face of me and many who disagree with you. Our view is refused by you because it causes you feelings of guilt. Seriously, look at these pictures and tell me it’s okay to rip a person from it’s mothers womb.

I can't even believe that the builder would be targeted. I think that protesting in general is taking it too far. These are people who are against abortion due to their belief that it is murder but they have been known to bomb clinics....hum isn't that murder? Hypocrites! There are way worse things going on in this country to be concerned with wasting time interfering with a women’s rights to chose. If those people would have dedicated the time they spent at the builders house to doing something good they could have made a difference in someone’s life…for the better..given food to the homeless..mentored an at risk youth…cleaned an unable neighbors walk… or maybe they should have taken the time to meet some children that were born to parents that didn’t want them and the suffrage that they faced because of that.

If they don't build it, they won't come.

Planned Parenthood has never "ripped" a person from a mothers womb, these are dicisions that are made by the women who choose to have abortions. I think you people need to move to a country that believes in communisim. This is America and people came here to get away from morons like you who wish to rule over other peoples lives. The people who protest in front of clinics are the same people who knock on my door tying to force their cult-like religion on me and my family. why don't you all mind your own business, like hey go protest at that pastor who molests children's house!

That is absolutely insane. These people are out of control. What exactly are they protesting-his right to work? It's his home. It's not the clinic. I think they have the right to protest the contractors’ involvement at the clinic itself although it seems ridiculous, but not their homes.

These people are just leading the way for other zealots to start protesting contractors whenever anyone is building something they don't want in their neighborhood. If I were the contractor, I'd protest in front of these people's homes about all the evils and deaths that have occurred in the name of their religion just to show them how hypocritical and insane they are being.

If they don't build it women will suffer, abortions will still take place--only they will occur in unsanitary conditions, and without the supervision of qualified doctors. The only smart person on here so far is jbstum, every one here should read that quote, espically the last sentence... Many babies are born to mothers who don't want/ can't take care of them, these are the ones police find in dumpsters, or are later abused to the point of death. Are all of you protesters willing to take in and care for every unwanted pregnancy? Also what is a woman to do if she is raped, or insest is involved--is she to give birth and never be able to heal from that tragedy? The child would be a constant reminder.

With mixed feelings about abortion, my comment is neither for nor against. However, judging from comments and not the story itself, I am surprised that pro-choice folks are upset about pictures of the internal workings of the human body unless of course those pictures are of a fetus representing life and not merely a lump that needs to be removed.

Stipe,
So you are either very naive or just speaking without thinking but there were abortions way before it was legal and there were clinics...the only thing that will stop is it being a safe choice for a women. More women will die when they make the choice to stick a hanger into themselves to remove the unwanted fetes or go to a basement without doctors or proper material to perform the abortion...get real. It will always happen it has always happened.

If they don't build it they won't be having abortions there. You're right, people who want to have abortions could always get the job done elsewhere. What's your point?

Stripe,
Tell me then what is solved by not having the clinic....more people die! Isn't that pro-life’s reason for protesting...to keep people from dying? So what is your point? What death is wrong...right?
