FINALLY, The customer has won!!!

A California Judge has just ruled that its ILLEGAL for cell phone companies to charge early termination fees!  On top of that Sprint has been ordered to pay customers over  18 million dollars in reimbursement. Now you know that there will be an appeal but finally someone said something about how the cell phone companies get over on us consumers. But only in California for now. But i have heard before that if it started in California then the rest of the country usually follows suit. Lets just hope.

This is one of the few things that I hope Florida follows California on.

plus I wish they would stop them with the practice of "locking" thier phones-making you buy a new phone if you change carriers is wrong

While we're at it, let ASBOLISH these dadburned so-called LATE FEES too! I mean, come on, if I call and tell you I need an extra 2 or 3 days because of the way my pay period falls, what makes this brain-dead butt-heads think I'm going to have an extra $50 to $200 more to pay them? If I were a business owner I'd be happy to know at least I'm getting the FULL PAYMENT due me, but to add in LATE FEES is totally ludicrous too!
