Quick Post guys!

I know that this is a touchy topic but

If Illegals have kids in the US and the parents are being sent back to their native country, What happens to the children?  They are however US citizens. Do you think that its fair to punish the children who didnt do anything illegal AT ALL? Can the children save their parents?

Amen Zippy! I am tired of illegals playing the victim role. They do not speak English but they know what they are gettin into when they come here. Kind of like when a guy robs a bank. Is it fair that he has to go to jail while his kids stay behind.......YES IT IS!!!!

Send them on their happy way with Mommy and Daddy! Children need to be with their parents!

Well let's see... If the parent commits a crime and comes here illegally, then the child who was born here is also illegal, send them home with their parents!

that's a constitutional change I could live with; if they're born here, they are citizens of the parent's country. Now, with the current law, they're our burden to bear.

What ends up happening is the bleeding hearts in the media cry about the poor kids, and some softy judge will let the parents return...

Maybe they should practice birth control if they cannot handle the kids...no wait, my bad!
I'm the one paying for it, I forgot.

Afelton - on your last question, no, it's not fair to punish the children, however, it's even more unfair to punish us! By sending the kids back with their parents isn't punishment. In fact, it would seem more harmful to seperate, so we'd be doing the kids a favor; keeping the family intact.

I am not going to point any fingers here but we need to change the law back to the way it was before the last amnesty bill was passed, I don't think it is fair to punish children but if you look at it we are not the ones punishing them their parents are, just like the ones from south florida that have been in the news this week, their parents were here waiting to be granted assylum from venezuela, It's not our fault that woman couldn't keep her legs closed, they knew exactly what they were doing, Their future was uncertain so hey let's have a few kids then they can't throw us out, who cares if we will be able to support them or not? These people are using kids as tools so as far as i am concerned the people that think this way are the ones punishing children not us!

I say exacute them all! If you're here illegaly and refuse to return to your native country (Mexico) you should be executed. If you have family here, execute them too. LOL Seriously, send them all back never to return unless they can provide their own room and board. Stop catering to them period. They are illegal and any kid they pop out while here is also illegal.

So if you send the kids back with their parents, will the children lose their US citizenship? The Constitution does state that if you are born on US soil then you are a US citizen. SO when the children get old enough(maybe a teenager) will they be allowed to return to the US and retain their citizenship?

afelton: I have dual citizenship and so do the kids and my grandfather.. as long as nobody files to get rid of their citizenship you maintain both.. The only cool exception was Montana that had some arrangement with Canada when they came over run with old maids getting prego and couldn't keep up on the prenatal ICU .. Those are the only kids born on US soil that don't have citizenship :) .. Actually the one thats used as a argument against socialized health care had 6 kids .. kinda a freak situation and tied up the ICU.. TO me it's cool two countries can work together but one far right/left want to make an issue out of a freak incident..

In many countries, only children born of legals are legals. If you had a child in the Netherlands, that child would be only American, not have duel citizenship.
We need more control.
If you bought an expensive dog,
paid big bucks to have her bred,
depended on the money from the pups,
then the dog went next door and had her litter, wouldn't the pups still be yours?

Unions are well past their usefulness in the US. At their inception, their intentions were good; however, many unions have "priced their members right out of a job...I mean, come on, look at GM, Ford,...etc. $38-40/hr to put lug nuts on a wheel? Something a 10 yr old could do? That's why Japan cleaned our clock in the automotive industry. Unions are a contributing factor as to why jobs leave the US. I've lived in this "Right to work," state all my life, and have made good money, without the union holding my hand. It's all about one's skill set and motivation.

The children can either go to foster homes or they can leave the U.S. with their illegal parents.

NO, they can't save their Parents-- Send them away with there parents and when they become 18 they can come back, If the parents come here legaly then they can come back with there parents. We are not baby sitters for illegals, I'm for not even giving the kids legal status, after all 2 wrongs don't make a right
