Welcome my fellow bloggers to another exciting installment of the "Quotes of Wisdom" where every Sunday, I will post an exciting quote that should help you through the week.

This week's quote is dedicated to Bernie Mac. Its so sad that he died so young. Rest in Peace, Bernie. We Lost another good comedian.

I like white people. Its not about black and white but they do things different. They go on break on the job. 15 minutes! they go to their desk, eat their cheese sandwich, drink their tea, 15 minutes later they are back on the job. BUT MY PEOPLE!! I dont know whats wrong with us. When we go on break, thats what we do: WE BREAK!!  You have to come look for us.
--------Bernie Mac

Stay tuned for the next installment of Quotes of Wisdom (God willing) where I will place another quote that will hopefully enlighten you.

This is a Black History FACT in July!! Where does the expression "the real McCoy" come from?

Everyone has used it but I wonder if people ever wondered where did that expression come from.

Elijah McCoy, a Black Canadian engineer born in 1844,  invented the self-regulating lubricator, which revolutionized the industrial machine and railroad industry. Because his product was so reliable and many inferior products were produced, buyers of the lubricator would ask, "Is this the real McCoy?"

Thus the phrase that is used around the world was born.  The Real McCoy!

A copy of a paper that I had to write today in class. But this is so true. it took me 15 minutes to write this. Tell me what you think.  I am sure if you are a parent, you can relate.

Let’s  look around. Look how a child lives their life. If adults act as children do, this word would be so much better.

How you ever seen children greet one another? No hatred or bigotry. They don’t see color. They don’t have an agenda. They just see a little person just like them who is willing to play.

Children don’t worry. They are innocent. Their innocence shines when they forgive and REALLY MEAN it. There is NO grudge in a child's heart. They want to make you laugh and because of their innocence a person cannot stay angry at them for too long.

What about if a child runs this country? There will be no more greed in the political arena and television will be much safer to watch with NO vulgarity, senseless violence and inappropriate sexual themes. The word "politically correct" is NOT in a child's vocabulary. IF allowed, they will speak up more than adults would. Honesty is at the forefront in a child's vocabulary. The only reason why children lie is because adults teach them how. Children LOVE to share and sharing with others shows their unselfishness. Watch how a child uses his/her imagination. Watch how their little brain goes to work. It’s important. As we gotten older, adults lose their imagination making life therefore boring and stagnant.

Live life like as if you are a child. Take notes from a child. IF anyone accepts their fellow neighbor with a child's heart, then I believe this world will be so much better.

I AM SICK AND TIRED!  Let me tell you why.  Recently there was a blog entitled, "The Angry White Man" I am not fed up or angry about this blog. I agree with some of what was written but the blog has stirred up some things that has been bothering me for a while. As a Black Man, I feel that I should add my take on the issue hence the name " The Sickd and Tired Black man" Now I must say that this applies to SOME not ALL Black Men and women in this country.

I am tired of the way that Black people treat one another nowadays. The Black on Black crime has got to stop. Why shoot your neighbor just because he looked at your girl? If your girl go and talk to the brother, you need to dump that girl NOT the man.

I am tired of Black people  saying that just because a man speaks correct English he is "talking white". What in the "BLEEP" is talking white? Does speaking Ebonics get you a job? Just because I say ask instead of "ax", I am talking white!

I am tired of reading on the Internet that 56% of black familes have single Black mothers!! Where are the fathers at?  Black men go home to your son and daughter! Why are you away? Do you want the streets and the government to raise your kids?

I am tired of seeing young Black men walk into a public place wearing their pants half off their butts showing their underwear. Pull your pants up! I am eating here. No one want to see the crack of your butt.  How do you expect people to respect you when you cant pull your pants up? No one would hire you.

I am tired of being a Black man who is married to a White woman and when we walk down the streets some people (black and white) give us a dirty look. ( Yes! it still happens. My wife pointed it out one day)  What is wrong with people? I keep looking behind me wondering if some one is sneaking up on me or something. Do you have a problem with what God has put together? Take it up with him. If he doesnt have a problem with it then so shouldnt you!

I am tired of the sorry so called Black leaders and Black role models we have nowadays. Now there are some  good role models like: Colin Powell, Denzel Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby, Condelezza Rice, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Grant Hill (even though some people in Orlando are angry with him for leaving but from knowing the man, i can tell you that he is a great guy)., Larry Elders, etc.  I can go on and on. Bill Cosby was right.  COME ON PEOPLE!!

I am tired of being called an African American even though I didnt come from Africa at all. I dont know my history. I wish I did but I was in the US and I am an American. I dont want to be labeled.  When i was in the Air Force and stationed in England, I wasnt considered an African American. i was considered a "Yank" I would rather be called a Black American ( I am proud to be black). If you want to call me an African American then the white people in America should be called "EuroAmerican"

I am tired of the way rappers exploit our women in the videos and all of these crazy hip hop trends. Stop calling women Bs and Hoes (would you call your mother a B or Hoe?) and stop using the N word. You dont like it when White people use it so why should we adopt it. Its a derogatory word and it was used to put Blacks down. People died in the 50s and 60s to avoid being called that and now we as Black people want to embrace it. What foolishness!

I am tired of Black men going to jail for stupid stuff. You dont have to rob that store in order to feed your family or to get a new pair of shoes. Get a Job! Stop blaming the white man for everything. This isnt your Grandfather's or Father's America anymore. The Civil Rights Movement of the 50s and 60s worked. We have more opportunites now that our parents and grandparents didnt have. The next President of the US could be a Black man!

I am also tired of the stereotypes. The media at times does a good job of this!  I see it in the blogs at times. Not every black man is a criminal. Not every black man sell drugs or live in Pine Hills or Parramore for that matter.  I know that there are people on here who knows that not ALL blacks are bad but for those who dont , I am spelling out to you. Here is a suggestion. I think that everyone should learn from another ethnic group. Learn about their culture.  Dont listen or believe in everything what you read or watch. If we as Americans learn about one another cultures, then the stereotypes will most likely disappear.

Lets get it together Black people! Black men, Go back home to your children! Go to college.  Why is it that the Black women out number the Black man in college at a rate of 7 to 1?  Why is it that there are more Black men in jail than in College?

I know that some of yall wont like what i Blogged but these are my thoughts. As an American i am entitled to my opinions! And to be fair, I am not only fed up with just the issues of Black America. There are more stuff that I feel need to be said but for now i will put this puppy to bed

Your thoughts?
