Quick Post guys!

I know that this is a touchy topic but

If Illegals have kids in the US and the parents are being sent back to their native country, What happens to the children?  They are however US citizens. Do you think that its fair to punish the children who didnt do anything illegal AT ALL? Can the children save their parents?

FINALLY, The customer has won!!!

A California Judge has just ruled that its ILLEGAL for cell phone companies to charge early termination fees!  On top of that Sprint has been ordered to pay customers over  18 million dollars in reimbursement. Now you know that there will be an appeal but finally someone said something about how the cell phone companies get over on us consumers. But only in California for now. But i have heard before that if it started in California then the rest of the country usually follows suit. Lets just hope.

I am so sick of these so called "Black" people, i.e Jesse Jackson, Sherri Shephard and most of the rappers and comedians who are just insisting on using the N word and when any other ethnic group uses it, they get angry.  WHAT HYPOCRISY!!!  This upsets me to the core!!
How can you use the N word after so many of OUR ancestors died and fought against being called that word. How degrading can you be to your own kind? And then Jesse Jackson tells everyone to NOT use it and he turns around and uses it himself! How can we trust a civil rights leader who cant even practice what he preaches?  Thats like telling your kids not to curse but yet you as a parent uses curse words around them! Sherri Shephard from the View says that its a term of endearment.  How much do you love your black brother or sister if you are going to call them a name that was used to degrade black people over the years. The N word means ignorant. SO therefore all the people who uses the word are ignorant as well.  I can just imagine the KKK and the other racial groups sitting back and laughing saying well our work is done!
We dont have to degrade them anymore. They are doing the work for us.

What a SHAME!!

This is a sad day indeed for me.

First of all, Tim Russert died of an apparent heart attack this afternoon. I really liked this guy. To me he was fair and he was a great moderator.  This news came as a shock. 58 years of age is too young to die. But like the saying goes: The good die young!!! God bless him and his family.

Secondly, R. Kelly got acquitted on ALL charges.  Now this is ridiculous!!  It shows that if you are rich in America you can get away with anything.  R.Kelly is about as guilty as O.J. First it was OJ then Robert Blake then Michael Jackson. Come on judges. GET with the program!  Just because you have money dont mean that you are above the law. Michael Vick found that out didnt he?

Ridiculous!

How ALL business phones SHOULD be answered!

GOOD
MORNING, WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Press '1' for English.

Press '2' to disconnect until you learn to speak English.

And remember only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you,

Jesus Christ

and the American Soldier.

One died for your soul,

the other for your freedom.

This story that  I am about to share with you all my fellow bloggers is so wonderful to me. I think that ALL Americans Black or White should learn from this brother here. This should help people understand each other much better regardless of background. I truly admire him. And I admire any person who isnt afraid to go against the odds and go for what he or she believes.

Joshua Packwood knows what it's like to be a minority.

He was the first white valedictorian to graduate from the historically black, all male Morehouse College in the school's 141-year history. But Packwood, 22, doesn't stand out solely because he is white or has maintained a 4.0 grade point average. For those who don't know him, what is surprising is that a Rhodes Scholar finalist turned down a full scholarship to Columbia University to attend the all-black men's university.

Against the advice of some family members, Packwood gave up the scholarship to an Ivy League school. He felt the true college experience was at Morehouse - where he believed he would get more than an education.

“I gained this interest in African-American studies and I thought that Morehouse would probably be the best experience," says Packwood. "I think of it in terms of 'study abroad.' If I really want to learn it, if I really want to understand it - maybe it's best if I immerse myself in the culture."

For the most part, Packwood says the experience among his Morehouse brethren has been overwhelmingly good - with the exception of a few negative comments.

Even though he received the support of school administrators, Packwood's scholastic success did not come without some controversy. When word got out that he might become the next valedictorian, some of his classmates - even friends - were admittedly chafed.

Still, the majority of students told CNN that he earned his accolades and they stand behind him. Some say, if anything, Packwood's academic success should serve as a lesson to his fellow students.

Overall, Packwood says his experience is the best proof of Morehouse success, because the school was able to produce a white valedictorian - against the odds. He's eager to quote the school's most notable alums.

As a Black man, I struggle with this issue.  It would be soo good for a Black man to get into the White House. This will be something that my grandfather would of loved to see had he lived.  My father tells me, come on son! This will be history.  Be a part of it! It took since the birth of this nation for a Black man to get REALLY close to the Presidency. Just imagine if the slaves could see this day. All those who fought for Civil Rights both Black and White. Those who died so that we Blacks can vote! This will be a GREAT day for us.

But I still cant vote for Obama.  This has nothing to do with his pastor or his affiliation with William Ayers, or what his wife has said or the fact that he attended the Million Man March ( on a side note. The Million Man March wasnt a negative march.  It was a march dedicated to the Black Man educating him on the problems in our community ie the high crime rate, the high dropout rate( why there are more Black men in jail than in college), why there are no fathers in the Black home and the high drug rate.)

I wouldnt vote for Obama because too me he is too liberal. I dont agree with universal healthcare. I have seen how it worked in England and they have to pay a LOT for it to work.  Obama says that he will roll back the Bush tax cuts in order to pay for health care.  That MAY work for a while but how will we pay for it in the future.  England had an idea.  They raised taxes!! Also, California has voted to overturn the ban on gay marriage in its state. Since Obama is very liberal, he may convince the US Congress to try to legalize gay marriage in our country.

I didnt like the war in Iraq. I thought that we went into the wrong country but now that we are there, we shouldnt pull out. If we do, the terrorists will use Iraq as a safe haven. By the way, What happened with trying to capture Bin Ladin?

Sorry Obama, but I dont know you that well my brother! I dont agree with most of your liberal views.  I admire that  you are trying for the White House. I admire your education qualities but on your stance on some issues, i dont know.  Where do you stand on the border control?  Where do you stand on social security?  How would you handle the war on Drugs?

I will probably vote for John McCain but the fact that in the past he voted against the King Holiday kind of turned me off.  However if he picks Mike Huckabee as his VP, that will definitely have me sold.

Right now her name is "We dont know" because everytime someone asks us her name we say "We dont know"...  so here is where you come in. IF you can come up with a great first and middle name for my little girl, i will send you on a nice vacation.  LOL  ok ok  Well i am kidding about the vacation but it will be much appreciated and save us from the stress of not having a name for her when she is born.

So far the names we have is Brianna and Janae pronounced Ja Nay.  I kinda like Janae because it means GOD has answered.

so fellow bloggers (and FOX news crew you all can get in on this one too.  Help a brother out. Please give us some names for our baby girl.

Not everyone generally likes their past. Especially if its been full of bad times, people tend to distance themselves from it. Because what you have done in your past reflects your present BUT what you do in the present will reflect your future.

Enter the United States of America. A relatively young strong WONDERFUL country. She is only 232 years old. (but dont tell her that). America has won almost every war she has encountered except for one. HER PAST!

Her treatment of minorities in her past particularly Black Americans has come back to haunt her from the pulpit of Rev. Jeremiah Wright. America is trying to distance herself from her past kind of like a bad divorce but how can you forget your past when people keep bringing it up. And why do people keep throwing the past in her face?  Its because some people are still hurt from it.

Enter Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Senator Obama's former pastor whose outlandish remarks has put him in the forefront of the past 2 wks. He may of thought that he was uplifting his black congregation but all he did was bring more division.  Now we may have the first Black (or half black half white OR half white, half black) Presidential candidate caught up in this. The Senator is trying to distance himself  from his past of 20 yrs of church attendance by having a speech later today. Can he do it?  Maybe Senator Obama needs some advice from the US who is still trying to distance herself for over 40 yrs from her past.

It seems like no matter what she does, folks are still not happy. She has trounced the KKK who is no longer a strong force it has once been during Reconstruction and the Civil Rights Movement. She has set up some entitlements for minorities ie Affirmative Action which to me goes against what the Civil Rights Movement stood for. (Juding people by the content of their character not the color of their skin) . and the Indians dont have to pay taxes. There is more but how can  the past stay buried?

So can America be delivered from her troubled past regarding racial issues?  Maybe so but there is one more controversy from America's past that is trying to resurrect from the grave! Some Blacks call it Racist and Southerners call it Heritage!  Her name? The Battle Flag of the Old Confederacy!

Just wondering on this subject.

Do you all believe in a woman's right to choose? As far as abortion is concerned.

what about the fathers? Do they have a say in this?

Also, if a man murders a pregnant woman he can get charged for double murder, yet if a woman has an abortion nothing happens to her. ( not saying that i  condone murdering a pregnant woman. Just had to say that)

I think this is a double standard.

what do you all think?

Please read below. Lately a lot of news regarding this very thing.  Tell me what you all think. Do you REALLY believe that the images of Jesus and Mary in food are the real thing when we dont even know what Jesus and Mary look like? Can you ACTUALLY believe that people are buying these images on Ebay for almost $1000 or more?

your thoughts?

EUGENE, OR (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Is it a prophecy in a pretzel?  That is what some people think as the bidding starts on eBay.

The pretzel, which resembles the Virgin Mary cradling the baby Jesus, is now on sale.

Michael Fleming from Eugene, Oregon says he found it while eating a bag of Rold Gold pretzels three years ago.

Now three years later, he and three co-workers have posted it on eBay.  The pretzel definitely has customers – in the first hour alone, bidding hit $1000!

Fleming says, "I would find the money to be a blessing."

The pretzel will be on eBay until March 1.

This is a touchy subject and I probably wont get a lot of comments on this subject. It seems however that the people of Central Florida arent afraid to express their opinions.

Do you think that racism is still prominent in America today or do you think that it has gotten better? Do you believe in reverse racism? How can racism be destroyed or is this going to be forever a blemish in American society?

Later

Al
