Just a quick note to ya'll out there in Blog Land, at least the one's that care anyhow!

  This will more than likely be my last blog for a while. I'll certainly drop by for the next couple of months to throw a barb, but I doubt time will allow me to do anything of any substance. Not that I did anyway. LOL.

 I can truly say that since January I have had alot of fun with ya'll, more with some than with others but that's what makes this life so great. I never saw myself doing this sort of thing because I hate my kids doing the Myspace thing. I can see why they are junkies. It kind of grows on you along with the folks you correspond with.

   At any rate I check out this week to start  my migration back to the "litter-box" and would like to throw a word of  heart-felt thanks out there to all of the supporters of our military forces and let you know it is all GREATLY appreciated. It never ceases to amaze me how far a hug on your return home from a stranger goes. That in itself almost justifies what we do.

 To all you CON cats out there,( there ain't many of us left!), man, It's been fun. Some of you have my email, drop me a line I'll send my new email and point ofo contact. You can pass it along to those you feel worthy. LOL!! Hell, I can always hit the delete button. Once again, thanks and I will certainly be in touch thru the year. I wish you all love and happiness thru the holidays with your families. Give-um all a hug for me.

My former brother-in-law was in the first Desert Storm and I had difficulties trying to explain that communications are few and far between to my mother-in-law and ex-husband. I think things are some what better, but it is still not like going into the computer room at home. Keep your head down when you need to, but never hang it in shame.

The best of the best to you old buddy. I know how difficult it is to play in the sand box and wished we did not have to, but I love this country and would go if age and health wasn't a factor. God protect you and thank you for doing what you do so well.

This is it, final, I ain't blogging no mo'!! For a bit anyway.
Thank you all so, so much for the support.
I will keep in touch as much as I can. You all enjoy the upcoming holiday season, I pray it brings each and every one of you and your families much joy,love and good health. As the new year approachs and this seems to be a year for change(?) I figured I'd change my BIO. Much more exciting than sorting my socks. Again. So let's see.... Chief Petty Officer in the Seabees(RES).Proud Iraqi Freedom Vet.(3 tours, voluntary), and have spent more time in a hooch in Iraq than in my own home since 2004. I'm a cranky, miserable, politically incorrect Father of 4 wonderful kids, 5 pit bulls, a ferret and a chihuahua. My creatures are my kids too! Married to the best woman in the world who has been my driving force for the past 25 years and I will go to the grave for what is mine. Believe in the war and believe GWB made the right decision and stuck by it, can't hate a guy for that. Firmly believe that on a whole the Iraqi people are good people having had the pleasure to interact with quite a few. Am I happy with the election? Not at lberty to say. Will we survive as the best and greatest nation in the world? Absolutely. The zombies will be kept at bay Future plans for the coming year is to get back home and catch up on the year and a half I have been gone,maybe ride my bicycle around the world,(not really), and stay alive one more year! That's it, that's all there is. God bless our Troops and bring them home alive and Victorious. SEMPER GUMBY, DAWG
