This is NOT a Hate Crime?

How in the world is this NOT a hate crime.  Oh wait, I know, it was a bunch of scumbag blacks beating up a white woman.  Sarah did ABSOLUTELY nothing to provoke this.  She mearly wanted a seat.  Why is it that you barely, if at all heard about this in the media.  Why is it whites aren't marching and demonstrating.  Wait, I know the answer to that too...the majority of whites have jobs and can't afford to take the time off to demonstrate. I hope these scumbags get beaten to a pulp in jail.

Woman Beaten on Bus

As Sarah Kreager, 26, tried to sit down on a Baltimore City bus Tuesday, police say, a middle-schooler told her she couldn’t. When she attempted to take another seat, a middle-schooler wouldn’t let her. Finally, according to police, Kreager just sat down.

She was “immediately attacked” by nine students—three females and six males—from Robert Poole Middle School. They punched and kicked her at 2:59 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to Maryland Transit Administration police.

She sustained “serious injuries” and had to be transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to a police report.

Kreager suffered two broken bones in her left eye socket, police said.

“She had eye muscles that were damaged,” a police report states. “She had deep lacerations on the top of her head and another above her neck.”

All nine suspects, ages 14 and 15, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Greene [Jawauna Greene, an MTA police spokeswoman] said the investigation into the incident was ongoing and she didn’t know whether the attack had anything to do with the victim’s race.

The suspects in the incident are black. The victim is white, according to the police report.

Baltimore resident David Briggs, who lives near the crime scene, said the incident underscores Baltimore’s pervasive crime.

You know why it's not a hate crime. Worst of all is that these 'scumbags' won't get beaten to a pulp in jail, because they won't go. They are minors and are probably fully aware that they will be released to the custody of their parents while the attack is 'investigated'. I believe someone reported earlier on another blog on this topic that a piece of information was reported, that 'they were provoked', but no specifics given. As if it suddenly becomes excuseable to do this.

fish - i heard that provoked nonsense as well.
and now the parents apparently HAVE come out with this foolishness and some other mess about their children being supposed "angels." they have their heads up their u-know-whats. angels and/or good kids dont do this kind of stuff and they know it. she "provoked" them because she wanted to sit down? thats ridiculous and they and the parents know it. btw, i havent seen this story on ANY of the local news stations, not just fox. maybe because it isnt considered national news, and it isnt really "local" either? any ideas why other than the ones that have already been offered about the racial makeup of the people involved and what end of the story they are on?
but what im really wondering is why people dont go back and find out if a blog has already been done on a subject before they post it again. we have been blogging about this all last week.

You're right I probably should have gone back and checked and probably should have assumed that there would be a blog about the subject in DC. Sorry, I'm not as good a blogger as you. Now back to the task at hand, I've heard that they have videotape from the bus that shows these scumbags starting troublw with an elderly person as well as this woman. The police now know it was unprovoked. I am trying to find the source of that info and when found I will post it.

"won't get beaten to a pulp in jail" ...he=ll "fish" they'll probably be a hit back on the block in the hood!!!! ...some ears in the neighborhood would likely reveal whether racial attitude set the stage for this to happen ...and happen again!

Hate crime, assault, aggrevated assault, Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot?
How about cutting out all of the PC crap, and charging them all with attempted murder? Did you see the picture of the victim??

YES IT WAS A HATE CRIME!

I think we should contact Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton to start a fund for these nine poor victims. We’ll need money for their legal fees and to grant them full tuitions in the college of their choice. I was very happy to see the money put to Gold,, oops,, I mean good use for the Jena 6.

neat...through last evening and this morning I've heard about a dam monkey and its owner about 100 times as much as this beating victim in Baltimore ...we soon learn where the media's priorities are in news event ...the is and the beating crime isn't!!

THE NINE TEENAGERS THAT COMMITTED THAT HORRIFIC CRIME SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH ATTEMPT TO MAIM, AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND ALL THE ABOVE AS ADULTS. IT IS SAD THAT THIS HAPPENS AND IT IS BROADCASTED ON THE NEWS AS IF IT IS NOT A HUGE DEAL BUT IF THE TABLES WERE TURNED WE WOULD HEAR THE OUTCRYS FOR DECADES!!!!! IT IS VERY SCARY THAT PARENTS ARE RAISING THEIR CHILDREN IN SUCH A MANNER. I GUESS THEY ARE "THE EXAMPLES OF THEIR ENVIRONMENT AND UPBRINGING"!!!!!!!!!!
