I think that the absent parent of a child that is abused and has died in result of abuse or participated in a criminal act ,that absent parent should be held liable as much as the custodial parent.The biological mother was blasay about the criminal out come saying, that she was not surprised, you stupid EDIT why would you leave your child with her father if you knew he was unfit ,and if the courts decided for her  to go to her dad then mother should have took it to  a higher court at least it would be on docket ,and you could sue the court who decided that and maybe they wont be so quick just to place kids anywhere. I am just desgusted about the absent mothers reaction to all of this, she should be right next to him in jail. and I still think she had something to do with it.
