Where are all of the Hollywood celebrities holding telethons asking for help
in restoring Iowa and helping the folks affected by the floods?
Where is all the media asking the tough questions about why the federal
government hasn't solved the problem? Asking where the FEMA trucks (and
trailers) are?
Why isn't the Federal Government relocating Iowa people to free hotels in
Chicago ?
When will Spike Lee say that the Federal Government blew up the levees that
failed in Des Moines ?
Where are Sean Penn and the Dixie Chicks?
Where are all the looters stealing high-end tennis shoes and big screen
television sets?
When will we hear Governor Chet Culver say that he wants to rebuild a
'vanilla' Iowa , because that's the way God wants it?
Where is the hysterical 24/7 media coverage complete with reports of
cannibalism?
Where are the people declaring that George Bush hates white, rural people?
How come in 2 weeks, you will never hear about the Iowa flooding ever
again?

Hey, I'm just sayin'. Maybe I just see things in a different light, but I see an awful lot of truth in the above questions. No REV. Al, no REV Jesse, no Kane West(con-yay), none of these cats that threw blame and pointed fingers in the aftermath of Katrina.
If I stare at this long enough I think I may start to see a pattern..... I could be wrong.
Bye the way.... I won't take even an inkling of credit for the questions, I just thought it made some sense when I saw it and figured I'd share.
I don't like the DIXIE CHICKS either

Unfortunately I cannot take credit for writing this, it was sent to me by a very dear and close personal friend getting ready to pack off to Iraq real soon. He was concerned about my feelings on the whole thing and wondering if he was doing the right thing, again, beings this is his 3rd trip. I assured him he was on the right path and it's the people like me supporting him that makes what he is doing worth it's salt. I assured him the bleeding hearts and non-believers are of no consequence and simply need ignored. I assured him his efforts are not in vain and that the nay-sayers are simply cowards that live off of the fruits of his strong beliefs and labor. I assured him he is a patriot, and his love for his country does not go unnoticed, at least by the people that count. I assured him that the new history being written would coin him a hero, along with all of the brave men and women that stood and did the right thing. I assured him that the fact he is willing to risk his life for his country is a brave and noble deed considering and assured him we are fighting for a good cause. I assured him that if he were to lose his life on this journey I would go to the end of the bloody earth to make sure his children know what he has done was not in vain, and he was a hero, a proud patriot,a proud Father doing his part to insure his children could enjoy the freedoms we are all able to enjoy . I assured him.

Some very interesting thoughts regarding the war we are in.....Could they be true of us?
Everyone has a different opinion on the war and our current President. This article is not specifically about the war or the President. This article is about us and our times. I hope you will read it and give it some thought. What a difference 60 years makes..!!!
President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. But the mistake was not his decision to go to war in Iraq Bush's mistake was in his belief that this country is the same one his father fought for in WWII. It is not.
Back then, they had just come out of a vicious depression. The country was steeled by the hardship of that depression but they still believed fervently in this country. They knew that the people had elected their leaders so it was the people's duty to back those leaders.
Therefore, when the war broke out the people came together, rallied behind, and stuck with their leaders, whether they had voted for them or not - whether the war was going badly or not.
And war was just as distasteful and the anguish just as great then as it is today . Often there were more casualties in one day in WWII than we have had in the entire Iraq war with less people in America back then. But that didn't matter. The people stuck with the President because it was their patriotic duty. (Remember that concept?) Americans put aside their differences in WWII and worked together to win that war.
Everyone from every strata of society, from young to old, pitched in. Small children pulled little wagons around to gather scrap metal for the war effort. Grade school students saved their pennies to buy stamps for war bonds to help the effort.
Men who were too old or medically 4-F lied about their age or condition trying their best to join the military. Women doubled their work to keep things going at home. Harsh rationing of everything from gasoline to soap to butter was imposed, yet there was very little complaining.
You never heard prominent people on the radio belittling the President. Interestingly enough, in those days there were no fat cat actors and entertainers who ran off to visit and fawn over dictators of hostile countries and complain to them about our President. Instead, they made upbeat films and entertained our troops to help the troops' morale. And a b unch even enlisted.
Teachers in schools started the day off with a Pledge of Allegiance and with prayers for our country and our troops!
Back then, no newspaper would have dared point out certain weak spots in our cities where bombs could be set off to cause the maximum damage. No newspaper would have dared complain about what we were doing to catch spies.
A newspaper would have been laughed out of ; existence if it had complained that German or Japanese soldiers were being 'tortured' by being forced to wear women's underwear, or subjected to interrogation by a woman, or being scared by a dog or because they did not have air conditioning.
We were not subjected to a constant bombardment of pornography, perversion and promiscuity in movies or on radio. We did not have legions of crack heads, dope pushers and armed gangs roaming our streets.
No, President Bush did not make a mistake in his handling of terrorism. He made the mistake of believing that we still had the courage and fortitude of our fathers. He believed that this was still the country that our fathers fought so dearly to preserve.
He was wrong. It is not the same country. It is now a cross between Sodom and Gomorra and the land of Oz. We did unite for a short while after 9/11 but our attitude changed when we found out that defending our country would require some sacrifices.
We are in great danger. The terrorists are fanatic Muslims. They believe that it is okay, even their duty, to kill anyone who will not convert to Islam. It has been estimated that about one third - or over three hundred million - of all Muslims are sympathetic to the terrorist's cause. Hitler and Tojo combined did not have nearly that many potential recruits.
So...we either win it - or lose it - and you ain't gonna like losing.
America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall.
------------------------------------
But it will be O.K., Leaders of this nation the calibre of Obama, Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, et al will make it all better.
We need some more programs to support the limp, lame, and lazy, not to mention inviting the illegals and terrorists to our backyard.
NO.... What we need is more men and women like my Buddy. May God bless him and watchover him and all that are fighting for our freedoms. You're all Heros.
By the way... for those of you who might not know, yesterday was Armed Forces Day.

Single Mother

Do you think single mother should get some help from the state? Since most of the single mother does not work full time or is working full time and unable to pay bills on time or in debt. I think the state should provide us a home where we can able to afford to pay rent by our paycheck percents. Rather they must follow how much income they can able to get some kind of programs to get help to pay for rent, insurance, day care provider. I think they should ask us how much can we afford for those things. so we can able to pay off our debt. and then help us how to financal corrects in the future after paid off all of the debt since we do not get child support from the father of our child(ren). I think Section 8- home provider helper should able to ask their client what kind of home should they want to live in. Because they asked me to live in a bad commuity where their are so many gangs in that neighborhood. I rather to be out where is more safer for me and my child. Do you agree with me? I do not want to live in crappy home, I want a home where is clean, nothing need to be fixed, freindly neighborhood, etc.
I think we need to post this in news so the state can able to noticed that Single mother is number one and also disablies too. Not just legal mexican who need help. Their are other people who needs help as well too
IRS Taxes

Report This Post I do not understand that I got the letter from IRS and said that we will get that amount of money but I did not get full amount of money that I should suppose to get. All I got was 600 bucks not 900 bucks which is not fair for all of us. Because I am single mother and deserved to earn more. I think IRS should give us more than 300 bucks per kids. I mean we spend so much on those kids to make sure they have clothes, food, roof over our head, transportation to school, activess, etc. I think we deserved to get maybe 900 per kids and that would be a huge helpful. What do you guys thinks? What you feel about getting your IRS? Are it right amount you were suppose to get or expected to get? What would you do if you did not get full amount that all of us should get?
Here you go Boys and Girls, a classic example of where we are headed. Single, and looking very uneducated, Mom begging help from the Tax payers. Even got money back from the Government and wasn't happy about that. Wants more. I suppose she never considered the other alternative, which left up to me to decide, is NOTHING.
Lives with Mom and still just can't make it like she wants to. House in a nice neighborhood, garage, swimmming pool, sauna and the like all at the taxpayers expense because she is a single mother. Perhaps if one was to get off ones duff and go to work one wouldn't be so bad off. Lots of us do it every day.
It rots my socks to see my hard earned tax dollar,(which I have to pay by no choice), go to the likes of this ungrateful, hand out seeking boil on the butt of society. I feel bad for the child (ren), they'll never know any different and will continue to be leaches on society just as their mother. It's not the fact she iss a single mother, it's the fact she expects others to do for her. Ther are alot of single parents out there that are success stories and not at the expense of the tax payer, but by getting up and making it happen.
This single mother can't afford to do squat, and is unhappy with the dollar figure the government sent her but yet can afford internet to reach out to the community for their opinion on this matter and the delete all of the responses. How the hell do you afford the computer much less the net connection??? Priorities I guess, and another prime example of my tax dollar at work. I'd rather see it go to the War effort, those kids are earning their keep in my eyes.
I suggested to this single mother that perhaps had she finished an education before she began to breed she may not have ended up with such a hard time of it. Granted we all make mistakes, but a great number of us manage to recover gracefully and not at the expense of others. Sitting back with your hand out is easy and easy is the way we go these days. It's unfortunate. Maybe the liberals will come up with a another free lunch program to cure this problem. Maybe next year the hard working tax payers can just do like a "ADOPT A SINGLE MOM" and simply support them directly. At the very least you cold monitor your expenditure.
It's a free lunch folks. Who's stupid......... I'm beginning to think it's the working class slobs. Maybe we should just quit.

And certainly not to be confused with TailHook. American society is in a bad spiralling tailspin, absolutely out of control.
It's pretty sad to read about a professional Law Enforcement Officer posing for "Fitness" photos and then have to read,(not haveto, I find it sad but entertaining),input from folks trying to justify it as o.k., What she does on her own time is no ones buisness, etc. BUNK, she's a Public official paid by the tax payers, not to mention a COP. She has no "own time". If I struck a pose with the old bagpipe a buldgin' you betcha I'd loose my job.
How about those illegals....... It's a no brainer Kids, take a look around you. It's a problem and can't be justified! Know a handful myself and they are real good People. Very much the exception.
Speaking of playing the bagpipe....Can't leave out the Gay Marriages, that's topshelf stuff, headline news. They are people too, just like the sleezy cop posing in her fitness outfit. Why not just legalize kiddy porn, hell, those freaks are people too. Why not rapist, felons, and necrophiles. Hire them and mold them into good citizens, you get 3 strikes in baseball.
Obama and Hillary are the poster children for what's wrong in society today. You would think with the millions of people in this country we could produce something a tad better than this. I hate to imagine the second string!!! America needs a few more REV. Al's, a handful more Haggard and Jones, a whole fleet of Jesse Jacksons. I'm convinced they're out there!!!
Bush is a liar, the war is a fake, the Muslims ain't so bad, and by all means don't pick on Iran and their Nukes, or the Mexicans. Let's just close our eyes and it will all go away. Need to bicycle around the world a few more times. A WEB link for every occasion to justify everything from global warming to the price of rice. I like www.whogivesaratsass.org., it's a liberal site full of fun facts for your everyday politically correct democrat sissyliberals, draft dodgers and hippies of course.
Allowing another flag to fly above ours and people figuring it ain't no big deal. Dear God... Why not just punch every VET you meet up with in the head???? I find it saddening.
There just doesn't seem to be any pride in our American public anymore. It's a down hill spiral Kiddies, and at a rapid speed so ya'll better hold on, it's not looking better in the future. Maybe some one will come up with a new weblink for us to look at for guidance.
It's time to take back what is rightfully ours including putting pride back in our paid and elected officials, pride in our Flag, pride in ourselves as a Nation. Send the aliens back to where they came from, give Cali.to the gays, the liberal politicians Mass., close the borders and shut the door. It's time. :o)
