President George W. Bush, legally and fairly elected, knew he did not want to panic a classroom full of children by jumping up and storming from the room.

Simple enough for a normal mind to understand.

5 th Graders? Hardly. Read the article. It's obvious you did not.

And you just described Bush, as a President of the Greatest nation in the world but yet he does not know how to properly exit a classroom? If he don't have the "coolness" to properly handle 5th graders, then he really scares the hell out of me.

No, I did not read the article YOU have chosen. It could only be leftist, defeatist propaganda if you have chosen it for display.

If he thought he could have turned back the clock by jumping up and raising a ruckus, I'm sure he would have done just that. But, in case you didn't notice, he was not stunned by the news. He had simply made those kids his priority for that moment, knowing that a great deal of time would be demanded of him in the comming hours and days.

So, if you so desire, be afraid. Be very afraid. It suits you.

Connot, I have a question for you. I hope you will answer. You seem to be ignoring me. Who do you think was a good President? I will not question your answer. I just want a point of reference. If Historian, R8R H8R or any other of your split personalities have other favorites, I would like to hear them too.

Heres a little tidbit of info for perspective:
John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi BOTH spent 47 minutes sitting around the office wondering if they should do anything, and then all they did was run away! Pelousi even lost a glass slipper! These same nuts want to talk about Bush doing nothing for 8 whole minutes! As if HE drives the cars, HE controls the secret service, etc. Times like that EVERYONE knows the President has things that go on that they are not on a "need to know" basis to have knowlege of, yet the liberals as opportunistic as they are, try to make something out of nothing!

Hey heres a fantastic question for ya! How many minutes did it take Clinton and Gore to figure out who was responsible?

How long did it take Clinton to figure out that Muhamad Atta the lead terrorist was the same man he forced Israel to release from Prison during the Oslo accords? We had the man behind bars, for blowing up innocent women and children on a bus, but Clinton being played for the fool by Arafat forced Israel to release the man along with many others, who thanked America by slamming jumbo jets filled with more innocent people into full towers, killing thousands in less than 2 hours!!

Since we are just walking down memory lane here...

Arky, read the article otherwise don't comment. You view this article "as leftist, defeatist propaganda." These facts or questions were posted from nearly every major news source to the CIA, FBI, and I could go on. You telling me they are leftist, defeatist spreading propaganda?" Call them and tell them that. Typical of a "Witness" giving his spiel.
And Abunny, where does it say "8" minutes? Typical spin. For those who did not read:
"The first crash had changed everything; the second changed it again. Anyone who thought the first was an accident now knew better.... Now this felt like a war.... At the moment the second plane was slamming into the south tower, President Bush was being introduced to the second-graders of Emma E. Booker Elementary in Sarasota, Fla. When he arrived at the school he had been whisked into a holding room: National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice needed to speak to him. But he soon appeared in the classroom and listened appreciatively as the children went through their reading drill. As he was getting ready to pose for pictures with the teachers and kids, chief of staff Andy Card entered the room, walked over to the President and whispered in his right ear. The President's face became visibly tense and serious, but then he resumed his interaction with the class. 'Really good, readers, whew!' he told them. 'These must be sixth-graders!' Meanwhile, in the room where Bush was scheduled to give his remarks, about 200 people, including local officials, school personnel and students, waited under the hot lights... The President finally entered, abou

about 35 minutes late, and made his brief comments... Meanwhile the bomb dogs took a few extra passes through Air Force One, and an extra fighter escort was added.... The aircraft carriers U.S.S John Kennedy and U.S.S. George Washington took up positions off the East Coast ." (The latter observation - to say nothing of the inactivity of Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington - is itself also an interesting element given that it was two east coast cities that were not provided with much needed air cover on Sept 11. 'I want to get though to the White House to reiterate that we need air cover' said New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani to Police Commissioner Bernard Kerick at the World Trade Centre just after the second attack, as reported in Time Magazine, 7 January 2002, European Edition p65. Why did he say 'reiterate' ? Reiterate to whom?)

LOL! connot desperately trying to place rules on response! I have mirrored this topic on my profile to include exactly what Harry Reid, Pelousi, Kerry and Daschell were doing for 45 MINUTES!! Bush gets snipped at for a WHOPPING 7 minutes which begs the question...

What would you have had him do in the first minutes? It would take 1 or 2 to leave the classroom and get into the car, another couple few to actually get in the car or fly away!

What EXACTLY is your point connot? Why bring out the oldest and weakest liberal crybaby history like this... All your heros were stuck "unable to think" for more than SIX TIMES LONGER!!

ABUNNY: Topic is Bush. As usual, you twist and spin either to the past or shift attention to another. You are so predictable, you are boring. Use one of your other screen names and see if you get any action, as "ABUNAI" is toast.
