I don't know much about the new hyper-def stereo tuners and satellite radio, so I spend some time on "regular" radio, and I got turned on to a really great Classic Rock radio station, KYEN based in Severance, Colorado.

They're at 103.9 FM, but you may have trouble picking them up if you don't have a decent antenna (Severance is between Greely and Ft. Collins).

Their format is Classic Rock*, and they're commercial-free.  I don't know how they're able to operate without commercials, but I love it.

Great music all day long.

*Still trying to decide if Bruce Hornsby and the Range is Classic Rock, but it was all good nontheless.

I think MyFox is having some computer problems, I haven't been getting comment notifications.

I'm not a fan of ALL music, Rap and Hip-Hop don't hold a lot of interest for me, but I try to appreciate all forms of music.

Classic rock is my "comfort food", along with blues and jazz. I'm also a big classical fan (Mozart, Rachmaninoff, and of course Bach).

I ususally let the weather, company, event, even the menu dictate my music choices.

Reggae ALWAYS works.

gj - yours is a cool site !

regarding rap: i have a dear coworker on the site where we split shifts as directors and his real work after tending to R tasks in the middle of a totally unionized state is as a child protective service agent for pittsburgh, pa ... he does night intakes. he is a good defuser and likes kids. we use to beg him to carry and wear milar as he arrives first on the scene in a police car - golly gosh! if he didnt log in at least every 36 hours we scanned the pittsburgh papers online obits for his name ..... we are forever trying to make his take a political job and deal with this on a higher level but he is addicted to the autonomic rush of these nightly occurrence....thats another story

he says that rap is their life and once gave me title ‘stunin like my daddy’ by birdman and little wayne. to be honest i had to find the written lyrics to discern the poem .... to see ‘a dead man laying in the street everyday’ is the crux of my hatred for the democrat representatives who oversee almost all of our inner cities. there has not only never been change for the better in slums but it simply slides into a worse hell for a child month by month ....

im glad i didnt put that song on my play list you asked for and dont advocate it for your children listening experience ... but i do listen it upon occasion which might see weird – it motivates me in some way to expect better of our politicians.

because i think you also select favorites by their words you need to listen (or read these poems but the heavy rhythm is all part of the scene) at least o

I'm in Denver. I never really listen to the radio because of the DJs & Commercials. I found this station about two weeks ago, and haven't stopped listening to it yet. I'm not sure that it is "Classic Rock". It can go from Bob Seger to Nirvana to The Cars to Metallica to The Talking Heads all in one drive home. It is really a 70's - 90's Rock station. Anyhow, Keep Rockin' Severance.

Greatly enjoying KYEN, found them over Memorial Day weekend while putting a transmission in my collector car. Many tunes I haven't heard on the radio in 20 years and many memories from my mis spent youth. I've been telling everyone about KYEN, way better than anything based out of Denver. We're on a hill in North Denver so it comes in well.

I'm a Dad, a construction contractor, a foodie, an artist, and a patriot. I'm also very afraid. I used to live in the United States, but I now reside in latin America (and I never even had to move!). I like to argue current events with facts (along with simple, reasonable human logic). I don't suffer fools gladly, so liberals, please bring your facts (if you have any). I'm a huge Denver sports fan (30 years on the bandwagon), but my favorite teams are, by far, the ones my kids play on.
