Just when you thought the libtards had taxed everything possible...

 

 

Obama economic plan courts working women

The Obama campaign reached out to Colorado's working women Wednesday, pitching an economic plan aimed at boosting wages and improving benefits.

More than 50 women gathered for a round-table discussion at Aurora Community College, where state Rep. Morgan Carroll, D-Aurora, highlighted Sen. Barack Obama's proposals to close the wage gap between men and women, provide seven days of paid sick leave for 22 million women who currently have none and increase the minimum wage to $9.50 by 2011, among other things.

 

 

 

 

One of the "other things" in B. Hussein's plan is to provide a tax credit for 71 million working women Nationwide.  Not a bad idea on the surface, unless you happen to know that tax money doesn't appear out of thin air. 

 

 

 

Tax money is collected from the citizens, and re-distributed as the liberals and other assorted career politicians see fit.  So if women are the beneficiaries of a tax break, that means that the tax money must come from somewhere.

 

 

 

That "somewhere" would be the wallets of men.

 

 

 

Please don't misunderstand; I'm quite fond of women.  I also believe that the wage disparity between the sexes is one of our great injustices.  It doesn't make any sense, however, to tax men in order to solve a problem that the free market is already solving.

 

 

 

Folks, here is something that every American needs to understand.  Grab a libtard and scream it into their face until they wake up:

 

 

 

The Government has no money of its own. 

 

Money redistributed by the Government comes from working people.

 

Working people like you and me.

 

 

 

Enough with the taxes, libtards.  If you did away with all of the entitlement programs and other wastes of our tax dollars, women wouldn't need to work at all. 

 

 

They could stay home and raise our kids, like they did 30 years ago.

agreed. equal work for equal pay. I remember whem vcr's first came out they were 500-800 dollars. as the market became flooded with vcr's the price came down. Since vcr's are a commidity and labor is also a commidity who really got the short end.

Penis tax? Bone head? Ding-a-ling? Okay, you have my attention! LOL! I'm with you gj! It would be great (and one would be so lucky) to be able to stay at home with your children, where they need you the most, while your hubby is off providing for the family. Of course, that wouldn't apply to a single mom like me. BUT, I still don't believe women need a tax credit....just because! That's ridiculous. "Equal work for equal pay"....agreed!

Just calling it like I see it, dizzee. I hope us guys won't be taxed by size, or I'm in trouble...and would that mean that Asians and Hispanics would have to pay a very small tax?

I digress, and believe me I could digress all day. This post BEGS for bad puns.


Don't get me wrong, if anyone deserves the free money our Government gives away, working single moms should be the largest recipient of domestic tax dollars. I like women a lot (I like moms the best, they almost always have spare band-aids).

My problem is with the taxes. I think that over-taxing IS the problem. If one segment is unduly burdened, there will be a ripple effect in a free-market economy.

I've been a manager of people and places for most of my adult life. I pay my people according to performance, and the females in my employ often made more than the men. Often.

I like to think that all of the discrimination lawsuits have made a lot of progress, most employers go out of their way to pay women as much as men in order to avoid one.

Good job on the single mom thing, diz. You rank right up there on my personal hero list.

If you think the libtards are arrogant now, wait until they're the only ones paying income tax. I agree though, toadie, it makes more sense than Jenna Bush serving in Iraq.

I see a conflict in the Penis Tax in Colorado, however. Bill "Tax" Ritter passed a bill allowing men who "feel" like women to use women's bathrooms. Will they be taxed?

I also remember that poor John Bobbitt fellow. Will he see a tax "cut"?

I DO see the upswing, now that you mention it (or would it be "upschwing"?)...

The guys driving Porsches wouldn't get NEARLY as much attention under this plan. I mean, if a guy can afford a Porsche, then he must not have to pay much Penis Tax, right?

This proposition may actually have merit, I'll have to look at the hard facts.

How did you know what I drive? That's creepy.

I knew a guy that got a porsche because it helped him attract women. I suppose, if you want to attract shallow women (he did). Shallow women are no fun to snuggle with, for one thing.

Anyway, he ended up marrying one, and her shallow fanny divorced him 18 months later and took nearly everything he had, including his porsche. Karma ROCKS.
