I don't know much about the new hyper-def stereo tuners and satellite radio, so I spend some time on "regular" radio, and I got turned on to a really great Classic Rock radio station, KYEN based in Severance, Colorado.
They're at 103.9 FM, but you may have trouble picking them up if you don't have a decent antenna (Severance is between Greely and Ft. Collins).
Their format is Classic Rock*, and they're commercial-free. I don't know how they're able to operate without commercials, but I love it.
Great music all day long.
*Still trying to decide if Bruce Hornsby and the Range is Classic Rock, but it was all good nontheless.
Hey there, fellow audiophiles...
My kids are starting to appreciate the finer forms of recorded music (as opposed to Britney and Miley).
I'm putting together some definative compilation cd's for them to experience modern (and classical) music, and would like to gain your input for tracks.
I was going to classify them by genre, but whatever's clever.
Got any playlists you'd like to share?
