day in and day out i see the media referred to a liberal, and although there are some very left leaning sources out there, i fail to see how a media predominately owned by conservative corporations can be labeled liberal. i thank rush limbaugh for this popular catch phrase and americas herd mentality for it catching on like wild fire despite the glaring proof otherwise...

this is just for you powerball.

Where is the glaring proof?
Rush? Savage? Gallagher? Those are talk radio.. granted they are part of the media, but they are opinion talkers at the most... they're popular because most of the people agree with them.

Air America sucks because they talk about non-sense and nobody listens to them.. they're sure to fail again.

CNN is very liberal, and at times anti-American... they are definitely not neutral. Fox is more moderate these days than conservative, but are definitely not liberal. BBC: liberal. Local papers in Denver... Liberal.

I could go through articles from all these sources from the same day and prove it to you... alas... the burden of proof is on you since you brought it up.

hannity has radio show and Is fox's pet. i cant get away from the guy...

also rush had far more trouble getting his show started. it was a VERY rocky start it finally broke for him. same will happen for progressive talk however when clear channel owns the majority of the rights to the airwaves and while they've been somewhat willing work with air America they don't take many risks when it comes to trying to break into new markets. also Ed Shultz and Randi Rhodes have beaten both hannity and rush in some markets, not all, but some. there is also satelight listener ship for air america,

however the media is nether liberal or conservative it is corporate... it will serve the corporate agenda without partisan lines.

Let me see, Sandy Bugler sure got a lot of bad press, not. Waxman using his office to violate the Constitution by allowing his staff to check content of talk radio, then calling in the head of the FCC. But thats no vast left wing comspiracy? Freedom of Speech only for the lefties.

State District Judge Michael Walker, Democrat of Shreveport, stands accused of taking cash and goods in exchange for reducing bonds and for setting himself up as a one man justice department to speed criminals to get out of jail on an expedited schedule… all for a price. Caddo Parish Juvenile Court Judge Vernon Claville, also a Democrat, is accused in the same indictment of taking cash to help juvenile defendants to get released quick… again, for a price.

actually i was busy spending my weekend with my wife and not bothering with any corporate owned media at all. this is how it breaks down, the media is corporate owned. the republicans AND democrats have bent over backwards to cow tow to these corporations by deregulating the fcc and not enforcing anti-trust laws. these media sources are going to continue to push the left vs right war to keep you from seeing whats really wrong in america. the media is icon driven, puytting things infront of it readers and watchers and listeners that are meant solely as a distraction and they call it news. have you heard anything in the local media about the unification of canada, the us and mexico? no. why not? it's real news. but we hear about thopse damned rockies twenty five times a day... the bbc isn't liberal, it is objective. it presents the facts without an opinion injected from the reporters unlike any us media source i have seen.

and powerball, if the new world order one vast government is a left wing deal, why is bush getting in on it?

rabble rouser and all around devil's advocate. i argue for human rights, civil rights, and speak for those who cannot defend themselves. i am a sceptic in the true sense of the word, as anything that is presented to me i have to look deeper into before i can form an opinion on the matter, sometimes taking years to make said opinion. i lean way too left for anybody here to give me any credibility, but have argued with the most virulent patriots until they were backed into a corner and rendered speechless.
