This post sounds more like a confession than a news issue. This is a controversial issue and yes I am Ani-Abortion. I don't care if it was in the heat of the moment. If you think you are woman enough to have sexual intercourse then you should be woman enough to protect your self. It is a very common practice that people use as a form of birth control. If you are so afraid of taking care of a baby in the morning and feeding and loving that child then keep your legs closed. How dare you promote abortion as a form of birth control? I have children and I wouldn't change a thing. Due to your lack of responsibility and ignorance you went out and killed a baby because you didn't want to feed and diaper the baby. Nor did you want your partying to be interrupted. It is obvious that you are very young and ignorant. You need to grow up before you have sex with anyone. BTW - A news blog site is no place for a confession. Try telling your parents.

I saw this Janet, and I shook my head so fast I gave myself ponytail whiplash. I am still baffled by the no comment thing. My first thought was "How old is this person"? This is a blog, not an editorial page.

This is a High school kids who has to get it off of her chest. I am surprised that she made it to HS. I read a couple of her posts and wow she is even trying to comment on school uniforms. This coming from someone who tries to rid kids of the world because they cry and need to be feed.

One other thing noticed about the issue of Abortion, Seems it comes up as a question during EVERY Republican debate, but NOT ONCE! during a single Democrat debate...... Isn't that interesting...

I do see how the issue is always being used as an affirmative negative against republicans (the default logic being that all democrats take a “liberal” stand on this issue and can assume that being liberal is always right) ....the problem as I see it is it does not even matter (one way or the other) girl chooses to have an abortion or not we (as working class tax payers) will pay for her person reckless behavior no matter what. We have created an environment where personal responsibility is never reinforced....without having consequence for their own actions people feel free to make the same mistake again and again , and feel that they are entitled to have others pay for it!

Most people think that abortion is only a case of oops. What about rape cases and cases where the mother, who wanted the child, is in danger. If abortion is made illegal then these women will have to either endure a very unplanned pregnancy or possibly even die. If it is illegal it will lead back to the back street abortions and very unsanitary conditions. While it should not be used a a birth control, there are good reasons to keep it legal.
