Thoughts on voting Republican

When I was A Republican, I believed the following things:

Jesus Loves you and shares the same hatred for the Arabs and Hillary Clinton

Saddam Was a good guy when Reagan armed him, and a bad guy when Daddy Bush made war on him, and a good guy when Cheney and Rumsfeld did bussiness with him, and a bad guy when Bush couldn't find Bin Laden.

Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

The United States should get out of the United Nations and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

A woman can't be trusted  with decisions about her own Body, but Multi-National corperations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops with speeches, while slashing Veterans benifits and combat pay.

If condoms are kept out of schools, adolesents won't have sex.

A good way to fight terrosim is to belittle and antagonize our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is Socialism. HMO's and insurance companies have our best interest at heart.

Global warming and tabbaco's link to cancer is junk science, but creationism should be taught in public schools.

A president lying about an extramartial affair is an impeachable offence, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defence policy.

The public has the right to know about Hillarys cattle trades, but George Bush's and Dick Cheney's driving records are none of our bussiness.

Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless your a conservative Radio talk show host then you need our prayers for your recovery.

What Bill Clinton did in the 60's is of vital national interest, but what Geaorge Bush did in the 80's is irrelevent.

Theres nothing wrong with supporting drunkin hunters who shoot their friends and blaming the friends for looking too much like a Quayle

If you were actually a Republican, and you actually belived any of that tripe, then please allow me to say that you weren't a very good Republican.

Example #1:

Jesus doesn't hate anyone, friend. Islam is actually the religion of hate. Check your facts.

I didn't actually get past the first sentence of your nonsensical rant, sorry KEW. The first part about who Jesus "hates" was such a profound statement of authorial ignorance that I really didn't bother with the rest of your blathering.

Also, please allow me to say, we Republicans aren't sorry to see you go. Obama deserves you.

If the mods at MyFox feel compelled to create fictional bLoggers in order to advance their agenda, perhaps they might want to reconsider their agenda.

Slamming on Christians is embarassing to all of us, Marc (and the rest of you MyFox morons).

Leave the bLogs to the informed, MyFox. Grown-ups are talking.

We call this article the "old shuck and jive". The oldest ruse in the book was to tell everyone you were the loyalest (fill in the blank) then say all the bad things they did to make you a turncoat. Sorry buddy that dog just won't hunt here, try not using the moveon.org or Dems talking points for a change.

This one was a bit insipid and I couldn't read it either, it's an obvious lii! And really smells of a Link.

The mods on this site have failed to evenly doll out fairness. It was made very clear over a year ago that what's good for Democrats is not tolerated from Republicans.

You would think gj that we haven't taken their best shots, and remained standing.

can't wait 'till you know it all folks are going to fix Earth (that warming thing ya'll made up)....but yet, ya can't figure out how to build a damn fence.

Republicans problem....is being stupid enough to try and appease folks like you. And it'll never be good enough for a bunch of DAMN snobs that won't get the HELL out of the way and let the REAL folks run for office. osama and hitlory were good for a laugh, but enough is enough.

You outa be HAPPY with the republican candidate! My only choice this November is to vote liberal..........
