Wanna know why, Karl? Because she doesn't CARE about Bush's doctrine. Perhaps President Bush isn't as much her beloved leader as you assume. He's not my beloved anything either, FYI.

Barry Hussein has a lot of lobbyists for advisors also, and you can add terrorists, communists, racists, and haters of America to the people in HIS fave five.

Talk about being out of touch Karl, I see you have no idea who Obama is. And you must of seen a different interview because the one I saw I never once seen Palin stutter or mumble, But if you would like to talk about someone who stutters take a look at your boy, Of course he only stutters when he isn't flip flopping on everyone of his policys...Hey did you here the great news? Now Obama is going to give EVERYBODY a tax break. Thats our Obama..BWHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!!!

I thought you said I don't deserve a response?

I saw the interview. She didn't stumble but she certainly wasn't elequent. Her response to the question was pathetic at best. She came across as someone out of her league.

She is attractive, she is engaging, but she is incompetent. The doctrine she was asked about is the very reason for why we are in Iraq. That she didn't even know this is very telling and worrysome.

There may well be many of you here that didn't know of this doctrine - buy you weren't asked to run as vice president to a man who is frankly too old and in not in the best of health.

As someone in the middle who votes not on party line but rather on qualifications, I hoped that the McCain's running mate would be qualified.

That America might actually vote for someone so incredibly unprepared for the task she is about to face leaves me with serious doubts as the future of this country.

I thought America learned its lesson for why a president has to be smart to run the country.

A man who graduated 753 out of class of 756 and a woman that has her degree in broadcast journalism after hopping through 6 colleges are not qualified to lead the most powerful country on earth.

I hoped for Romney, but this choice is a rediculous panderous move and is not in the interest of the country. Nearly 300 million people and the Republican Party couldn't find someone that was both attractive, educated AND INFORMED?

And what makes Obama qualified? It's a little funny that a VP has more experience than the person runnng for president. She could have parted the Red sea and you liberals would have complained that she got her feet wet. And she did answer the question about the Bush Doctrin right, So what if she wanted Charlie to be a tad bit more specific about the question. At least you could understand her answers unlike Obama who leaves you with EDIT did he just say?

So what, exactly, is the Obama Doctrine? Hope for Change?

An intelligent citizen watches interviews such as that one and understands that the media has a very clear (and very dangerous) bias. Sarah isn't used to sparring with venomous reptiles like Gibson, but she'll learn.

Here's a good fact check regarding that liberal attack disguised as an "interview":

I've always prided myself on being a fairly moderate person. I get the facts. I put person ahead of party. I have actively campaigned for both Republicans and Democrats.

I don't understand how a thinking, informed person can want Barry Hussein as a leader of the United States. Our forefathers must be spinning in their graves.

ZipIt, she hasn't parted the red sea, so we will never know if you are right.

I for one would be happy to switch sides and vote for her if she is able to part the red sea. For now, I have to make due with the fact that she has done very little to justify her appointment.

She graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism after bouncing around in six colleges. I am unable to find evidence that she ever pursued this field.

She was the major of a town that most of us wouldn't notice if we drove through. She ran that town into the RED because she wanted a hockey arena. She was voted in to that office by a total of 671 votes!

On the issue of character, she fired the police chief because he wanted to change the bar closing time from 5:00 am to 2:00 am.

She fired the librarian in this small town because she refused to get rid of books that she found offensive.

Still more on the issue of character, we all know about the problem with attempting to have her ex brother in law fired.

I made a legitimate comment, she is woefully underqualified to assume this position.

You talk about how we LIBTARDS just can't make an argument, PROVE IT.

She may be a great mom and may be a great cheerleader for her son's hockey team, but why should I vote for a ticket that might put her in the presidency?

It is VERY hard for me to take a conservative line seriously when there is a complete refusal to acknowledge why this woman was selected. In a SEA of qualified men and women, Sarah Palin was selected not for her wisdom or experience, but rather because she is an att

gjflash,

You make several points. The first is that the media is somehow biased. Get over it. It is their JOB.

I for one WANT to see them put both candidates through the wringer. You didn't have a problem when it was Reverend Wright, but now you have a problem because they want to know if the mayor of no-name little town is up to the task of taking over the presidency of the most powerful country on earth? You are right, our forefathers would be spinning in their graves but not for the reason you think.

The media, which happens to be providing you a forum for discussion right now needs to do their job. Hats off to Charlie.

I read your site and it made a fair point. That said, when he explained the question to her specifically, she still failed to answer it and still couldn't answer.

As for your failure to comprehend how democrats can vote to Barry Hussein (emphasis on the fact his father was a Muslim).

Here is a list of what I don't support about the republican party and why I am voting for Obama and the democrats:

The democratic party has traditionally placed emphasis on America and Americans here at home. They have supported the common man.

The number of Billionaires since Clinton left office has jumped from about 100 to nearly 500. This, while Americans are working harded, and longer hours for less money.

Translation? Under Republicans, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Only now there are more poor.

The tax cut for the rich, reducing the tax on wealthy americans from 39% to 36% under Bush has resulted in deficite spending. Even with our troops home this will not be sufficient. Obama will take the tax rate back for the rich. A 3% tax increase will not cripple the rich, but it will provide a tax break for the middle class and the poor who are really hurting right now.

More of why I think the democratic party is in touch.

I believe in freedom. Republicans spout freedom all the time, but want to wire tap, want to take away a woman's right to her very body.

I can't support that. It is not the government's place to run our bedroom. Our right to privacy must be respected.

The right to privacy is a foundation of American privilage. The so called patriot act has opened up our lives to be examined by bureaucrats without benefit of judicial oversight. Moreoever, there is no reason to believe that giving up our rights will make us more safe. Who here believes that if a terrorist is determined to blow themselves up that we can do much about it? Or drive a bus into a crowded market, or set fire to buildings?

I for one would rather live free or die.

Still more.

The war in Iraq was a blunder. Exactly what are we getting out of this? Freedom for the Iraqis? This is the war that McCain wants to support?

Americans are paying $13 Billion a MONTH to sustain this war.

For what? Who here believes that once we pull out that things will be fine in Iraq?

Who here believes that we will reach a point where we wipe out all terrorism because we are in Iraq?

Who here believes that we are no encouraging more terrorists by the day?

If the answer is NO ONE, then why are we there and why would McCain be pushing for the continuation of this war?

Sorry, Obama wins this one HANDS DOWN.

I still await the BRILLIANT conservative response from the dynamic trio...

"Prove me wrong." Gladly.

"She graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism after bouncing around in six colleges. I am unable to find evidence that she ever pursued this field."

Sorry to hear that you were unable to find evidence, Sam. I suggest looking on the internet, a very helpful tool.

Also, it was five colleges, not six. I transferred four times in the first two years of my education as I searched for the meaning of life, and the best institution for helping me in that regard. I'm at a loss to understand what your point was.

"She was the major of a town that most of us wouldn't notice if we drove through".

That's as far as I got on that one. A lot of us are from small towns, the difference being that small town folk are usually above such snide geographical references. Where are you from, Sam?

"On the issue of character, she fired the police chief because he wanted to change the bar closing time from 5:00 am to 2:00 am".

This is a character issue HOW? Dude...the Police Chief was going to cut three hours out of drinking time in Alaska, a State comprised of hunters, fishermen, oil rig roughnecks...trust me, this was a COMMUNITY decision. Governor Palin got him out of office before the townsfolk lynched him.

"Still more on the issue of character, we all know about the problem with attempting to have her ex brother in law fired."

She suggested that her ex-brother in law be fired after she found out that he was a wife beater, drug abuser, a
