Once again just providing info.

Let me see if I have this straight...

If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by grandparents, you're exotic, different.

Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, a quintessential American story.

If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

Name your kids Willow, Trig and track you're a Maverick

Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.

Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well groomed

If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer , become the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human service committee, spend 4 years in the United State Senate representing a State of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs Committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people 20 months as the Governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.

If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian

If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian

If you teach responsible, age appropiate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fibre of society

If, while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state's school system while your unwed daughter ends up pregnant, you're very responsible.

If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't represent America's.

If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude" with at least one DWI cinviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote untill age 25 and once was a member of a groupe that advocated secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admireable.

OK, much clearer now.

I am torn. Normally, we can ignore the VP because it's not a terribly important position. In this case, given McCain's age she is relevant. That said, this race is still about McCain and his policies and the sooner it gets off of Palin we can get back to the issues.

If we stick to the issues, it will be clear who can best deal with them.

You point out some interesting hypocracies. Good post.

Given the age and fortitude of McCain's mother, I would give McCain better odds than I would give Obama, should Barry be elected. Sad, but true. Then we get Joe Biden, quite the change.

Each one of your points can be beaten like a rented used mule!

1."If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer" .

stapling protest flyer's on telephone poles and knocking on people's doors at dinner time to registered for a bogus law is not something that is brilliant, in my book.

2."create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters,"

But how many of those people actually voted? 10! Besides, most of those people WERE PROBALLY paid 10$ bucks to simply register-fill out the form and they would do the rest. Knowing a little something about how it works in the hood, that's the game Cummunity oranizers play,my friend!!!! So who are you trying to fool????

3." Spend 12 years as a constitutional Law professor ."

Then why dont he call Dumb a$$ Woopie Goldberg and tell her that SHE was never a slave and it would be impossible for McCain to make her one AGAIN in today's time! I can't believe how dumb black cellbrities have made themselves and other balck americans appear so dumb!

4.'Spend 4 years in the United State Senate representing a State of 13 million people, while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs Committees, you don't have any real leadership experience."

Obama has spent half that time campaiging for president !!! and it's not been 4 years eiter . He's never ran anything for those 13 million people. PALIN orchestrated a pipe line that Will feed the rest of the 49 states. That's what people care about ,not talk and speeches!! MOST CLONES ARE UNABLE TO C

As an American -black, I much like the name "track" than I do Barrack!! .Hmm.. the dad didnt care one way or another about the name "Barrack", it was the whitle liberal mother who felt she needed to give her son a foreign african name becuase he was part black ( another bad way of thinking by white liberals)

Just admit it karlew ,you are an Obama CLONE!! YOU ARE A CLONE and you don't want to think about what he is. But Barrack Obama is just an empty suit ...A CHARLATAN !

One more thing there karl, not one time in history when the other side did nothing but attack the VP did it ever turn out good...ask 41 about that.

Obama also touts all his “experience” as a community organizer. What that has to do with his qualifications to be president is anyone’s guess. But, nevertheless, turns out he didn’t really do that either.

On the stump, Obama has frequently invoked his experiences as a community organizer on the Chicago South Side in the early 1990s. But, as a state senator, Obama evaded leadership on a host of critical community issues, from historic preservation to the rapid demolition of nearby public-housing projects, according to many South Siders.

Harold Lucas, a veteran South Side community organizer says, “I’m not happy about the quality of life in my community,” says Lucas, who now heads a black-heritage tourism business in Chicago. “As a local elected official, he had a primary role in that.”[snip]

When the City of Chicago seized the 70-year-old Gerri’s Palm Tavern by eminent domain in 2001, sparking citywide protests, Obama was silent. And he offered no public comments when the 30-year owner of the Checkerboard Lounge was forced to relocate a couple years later.

Even in Hyde Park, Obama declined to take a position on a years-long battle waged by hundreds of local community activists fighting against the city’s plan to replace the historic limestone seawall along Lake Michigan — a popular spot to sunbathe and swim — with concrete steps. [snip]

Obama’s aloofness on key community issues for years frustrated Lucas and many other South Siders. Now they believe he was just afraid of making political enemies.

Yes, indeed- hugely successful- for his own interests.

A little more clarity, in contrast to your personal attacks and judgmental stance- Dizzee has the whole article from the Washington Post- but since it's not HuffingtonHate.com, you might not care-

Summary - Candidates voting with their party.

Rank & % of time voted with party
2007-2008
Obama - 12th - 96.0%
McCain - 65th - 88.0%

2005-2006
Obama - 5th - 94.8%
McCain- 94th - 79.4%

2003-2004
Obama - NOT IN CONGRESS
McCain - 93rd - 84.5%

2001-2002
Obama - NOT IN CONGRESS
McCain - 93rd - 76.2%

These numbers are interesting, because I still don't see the 90% or 95% represented anywhere. But then again, I suppose that I could go through the voting record and find a three month period somewhere when McCain did vote along the same position as Bush and the party 95% of the time. But, by those standards, I could also take the 1 week period last year, when Obama supported the President's Immigration position and state that Obama voted with the president 100% of the time.

Obama is no centrist or moderate, he is a panderer willing to say anything based upon what group he is talking too, so long as it forwards his position. His voting record does not demonstrate any reasonable level of non-partisanship and has proven that he is beholden only to party leaders. His base of support has not come from moderate Democrats, it has come from the far-left power brokers intent upon control of the government.

John McCain's voting record has proven consistent with that of a candidate who unwilling to sacrifice his principles and beliefs in order to appease party leaders

Well then do it, instead of just pretending to.

A community organizer does not staple fliers or knock on doors. He is in charge of the effort commanding dozens if not hundreds of people.

Try registering people to vote some time. Getting 150,000 voters registered is a monumental task. Palin became a mayor when 671 people voted for her. That's the joke.

Really, you think that Obama came up with $1.5 million to get the vote of 10 people?

By the way, it is pronounced PROBABLY.

[Obama has spent half that time campaiging for president !!! and it's not been 4 years eiter .]

STATE senate. Read more carefully. Otherwise you just come off like a hothead.

131 bills in the STATE senate...

I am tired of being called a clone.

If you want to be embarrassed, I am more than capable of obliging you.

What pipeline are you talking about? She neither built no orchestrated the construction of a pipeline.

She has been a governor for as long as Obama has been campaigning.

Moreover, the USGS (US Geological Survey) - your government - did extensive testing in Alaska. There are 15 billion barrels of oil up there available at a cost of $40 per barrel to extract. Meaning, ONE HECK OF A PROFIT FOR OIL COMPANIES.

We consume 7 billion barrels of oil per year just in this country. If we got every single drop out of there tomorrow, it would be enough to last us for 2 years. So much for energy independence. THIS IS A LIE that you have been spoon-fed by corporations that are SWIMMING IN YOUR MONEY.

TWO years. That's what you are jumping up and down about.

It will likely take more than 20 years to get all that oil out. This means we will see NO price reduction at the pump. NO PRICE REDUCTION.

It will be sold on the global open market at which point OPEC will decrease production by 1% in order to keep the oil supply the same.

ONE PERCENT. That will be the total impact on global oil production. ONE PERCENT.

Obama told you this, but you are brilliant. You know better. Drill Baby drill.

Those companies that get at the oil that Palin wants them to hav

We never said voted with Party 95% of the time. We said, voted with Bush 95% of the time.

In the case of stem cell research for instance, Bush went against both parties.

McCain did vote with Bush 90-95% of the time. If you count voting by NOT voting (such as what he did when he refused for the recent support of alternative energy - even though he was right down the hall), the number is 95%. If you count actual votes, it was 90%.

As president, Bush is the leader of the Republican Party.
