I) Philosophy - America work's from the bottom up, NOT the top down, when the Republican's took control of the Congress, the Senate, and the Presidency eight years ago America has seen a shift of wealth from the middle class to the top  not seen since the 1920's

II) Policy - Historically record shows Presidents do what they say during their campaign Obama's economic policy is better, his Education policy is better, His Foreign policy is better.

III) Decision maker - Barack's VP pick (that's a no brainer), his reaction to the financial crisis, he understands and is eager to understand.

IV) Intentions - Barack has better intentions he wants the best for America.

Although freedom comes with a high cost, we need someone who is going to invest in the future of our youth, economy and strengthing our military.

Will John McCain surround himself with a staff and supporters who can strategically win this war in Iraq, empower Iraq with independence, Get Bin Laden, bring jobs back to America, create more jobs that can not be outsourced, boost our economy, save our education system, hold state and local leadership accountable for serious crimes, seriously, protect our borders, implement an immigration policy that does not reward illegals with privileges earned by citizens. Or will he Be the cowboy Bush is and totally disregard what's best for the nation and personalize every decision to accomidate his personal needs.

Will Obama surround himself with a staff of experienced staff and supporters, knowlegeable of modern technologies needed to win this war on terror, utilize his impecable mathematic skills to balance our budget, lower our deficit, protect our economy with the creation of alternative fuel souces, bring our jobs back to America, implement stiff sentences for crimes of terror (all types), seriously address the immigration laws for the better of legal Americans, protect our gun laws or will he be the liar so many has accused him of being.

Both candidates have great points and both have some that are not so great.

I like karlew's break down. No disrespect to McCain.

Thank you, jamnjim-

To me it's pretty simple unless you're hung up on the incredible amount of energy and time wasted trying to persuade voters, to vote for McCain out of Fear and hate and Lies.

We need a leader that is willing to put together the best, and brightest minds this country has to offer and fix what is to the point of break.

And that leader is Barack Obama!

He showed us that during the financial colapse he did not "suspend" anything he made calls to the Brightest and Best and made rational decisison's Cooler heads prevail!!!

1.It works from the bottom up?
I guess that is why mexico and cuba are doing so great

2.Mr Gaffaminute, yeah he is someone I want to be a heartbeat away from being president....if you recall he had to bail the last time he ran for president because he is a plagiarize, which is illegal, I do bellieve.

3.Tell me one president who did what he said he was going too.

4.Yes we all have great intentions

Kipp- you missed the entire point the middle class does not continue on with the way of life the have EARNED, by the rich getting TAX BREAKS!!!

Your second point is POINTLESS Biden is extremely qualified when looking at Palin who can't even sit across from a journalist! How do you think she would sit across from Putin!

Third point, BUSH said what he would do raise taxes on the middle class and give big corperations and the top 3% tax breaks!!!

Fourth point, we all do believe in our hearts we have good intentions but in reality we do not! McCain's intentions are to cary on with the same Tax the working guy and give the wealthiest a tax break!

Did you ever think on how many millionairs got so rich? off the sweat of the Average American! so when the average American Can't take out a home loan who will the lenders loan money to, the rich??? of course not the economy will not sustain itself on that logic!!

I think that Barack Obama will win, but I am very worried about what will happen once he is in office, what if he gets killed?

Millionairs got rich by busting their ass and hard work, they got richer by giving work to others, don't like your pay? go work some where else that pays better.
Palin had one bad interview that you libs will never let go of bevause that is all you have, Biden screws up every time he speaks but you libs have given him and Obama the free pass treatment and you know it.

and to tell you the truth, If I had a successful business I would get the hell out of America because of the hugh taxes laid on me. And you think by taxing the rich they are going to stick around....would you?

One more thing, we all got tax breaks off of Bushes tax cuts....all of us.

Please link me to the site where Bush said he was going to tax the middle class, I would love to see that, or could you possibly just be making that up.

One more thing, I am far from rich, but I have had 5 home and have never had a hard time getting a loan....it might just be because I pay the banks back and I buy what I can afford.

kipp- 5 homes congratulations your almost pace with McCain!!

The Rich, that is the top 5% of the wealthiest haven't seen as big a tax break that they recieved by Bush W since the 1920's

The majority of the wealthiest American's are corperations and their workforce are so called middle class if you tax the middle class and they can't afford the basics of life How will the wealthy be able to sustain their lavish lifestyle??

So if you are far from "rich" then you will benifit from Obama's tax plan!

I did not "make up" GWB's tax plan he did that himself!!

You sound a little uninformed, So let me get this straight, you would rather have a one time payment of 1000 dollars verse haveing a job? when Obama starts taxing the businesses they will dry up. Plus Obama is going to tax our food, gas. He will nail our nest egg we have tied up in our homes by raising the capitol gains tax and our SSN will be taxed. he will be cutting checks to people who don't even pay income tax...over 40 million. He is introducing over 800 billion in new Government spending programs...who's gooing to pay for that? you think the top 5% is going to pay for everything? stop fooling yourself and get the facts.

Like I asked before on another blog, where is my incentive to build a prosperous business? The more I make, the more they would take. Why bother?

Mooselover: That will be the downfall of the US. There is no incentive to become the next Bill Gates and people like him that have found a way to do what we do on computers, cell phones and the like. If I have a great idea that clicks and I take it to the public the reason why is so I make money. If I am great at something I do it so I can make money. Even the stars in Hollywood if they not recieve the money would quit. They may say now that they do it for the art, but if their income is cut and they can't afford the servants, cars, houses and the like and are reduced to being paid what the local community actors get they will change their minds.

The rich got rich by working their tail off from the bottom. They just don't your Obama taking it away now that they are there. Obviously you who are for him don't want to put in what it takes but if you did, you would also be feeling this way. I am not rich but I saw my kids work to earn their college degree, pay their student loans, not take welfare and I wouldn't vote for anyone who steals from anyone and that is what I call it and all the rest of us where I live. You are fooling yourself to believe this guy. And the ridulous thing of all is some of you don't give a darn if this guy has all the unseemly people who have molded him. His own man? I don't think so. I hate to burst your bubble but Sarah Palin could hold her own any day of the week to Obama. And finally can you come up with something better than "a heartbeat away?" Getting old.
