I suppose a person could compromise secrets or get blackmailed, but I struggle to see what sex has to do with how well a person does his job. I suppose the hypocrisy of some people who crusade against something and then flip-flop by doing the same thing one is crusading against, might rub people the wrong way, but does that takes away from the other 80% of one's effectiveness. The truth is that many people who turn their noses up at prostitution wished they could do it without consequences. I think Americans make too much out of sexual indiscretions that only reflects their own Alta egos. It’s the same as the homophobic guy who hates gays, but secretly has fears of his own sense of sexuality. The biggest fear is that sexuality might be more freely accessible, because that would probably reduce marriages. We need to get out of the 1600s and accept our sexual drive as being normal. Sex has very little to do with business, or politics, thus why are we freaking.

khazzi, go and check what the accusation is. The prostitution is a small part of it. He is being charged with money laundering, too.

Only if we could change it from Sex and Politics to "Sexy Politicians," that would create a whole new interest in politics, now if we could only find some....lol.

I think that NY governor is pretty ugly to be honest, maybe that is why he had to pay someone so much to be with him! LOL!

Khazzi, I have always been true to my sexuality, have always considered myself "tri-sexual" meaning I would try anything once, twice if I liked it! LOL! But I can honestly say that I have never wanted to be a lesbian, crack whore or a prostitute! Even if there were no consequences or repercussions I still would not want to!

I would add, in addition to money, something else may have been supplied to impair her vision...lol. What's the line I've heard many guys use... well, a few drinks and a bag over the head.... lol!

The real question here is, would you rather have a president who is sexually satisified or fustrated with his/hers finger on the trigger?? Then as far as the governor the samr question.

There's one thing that concerns me about how he got caught, and that is via wire tap. This concerns me because of goverment spying on Americans via wire tap. Anything that has to do with wire taps should considered suspicious, because of the illegal invasion of privacy by the US goverment. How would we ever know if this is not a product of illegal activity.

Khazzi you brought up a good point, perhaps the Bush Administration is monitoring all the politicians in office who go against the beliefs of their Administration and as soon as they make one wrong move ... exposed! Imagine if we could wire tap Pres. Bush and expose his secrets... what dirt we would find... goes for the Clinton Administration too. The only problem I have with wire tapping our politicians is that the people (taxpayers) of America (who allegedly run this country) cannot listen to the wire taps.

khazzi.. the wiretap was obtained legally, and two of the "escorts" agreed to have their phones tapped during their cooperation with a federal investigation. The Gov. simply was one of the calls picked up during the investigation.

People need to understand that this man took down people simply because he didn't like them, and he had crooked dealings in his closet from his campaign days. His agressive nature of taking down entire companys and hurting stockholders WHILE AT THE SAME TIME WAS AS BAD AS THEY WERE speaks to how New York is so Democrat that they just didn't want to see it! New York State has been dying for a long time, and once again the left population fell for "Change" and all they got was more of the same!

I really don't get the thing where like, When ever a Politician Was caught having an affair with someone other than their Wife, it's so Brought out into the Open Like Nothing.
I believe that The news can be good for occasional things, but stuff like that, should really be private.

Why is this "EDIT" not in custody yet; especially since we now know her true identity?! Why is she still cruising NYC, charging 5-grand per hour?! Prostitution is illegal still, is it not? And why are the owners of this "Emperor's VIP Club" not in custody?! No one is saying anything about them! Let's NOT let these sleazy individuals write a tell-all book and make a million dollars off this incident! These idiots are NOT celebs! They belong in front of a judge. If I were to start a hooker ring down here and get caught, I'd be at the Sanford Courthouse in an instant! Oh wait, that already happened when the owner of Rachel's got busted years ago!

Ya know, I just noticed that the stock market has been open for slightly over half-an-hour now and it's already DOWN (yet again) 180 points!  Our American economy is seriously POOPING all over itself and our politicians are busy humping HOs in fancy hotel rooms in D.C., or in airport bathrooms in the mid-west, or in park bathrooms in Titusville!  This needs to STOP!
