Since when does a local news anchor go so far as to accuse anyone at anytime of being a Marxist? All the credibility ever gained in Barbara West career just went out the window in my opinion. If someone said that John McCain is an Imperialist, I would have said close but no cigar. You see Imperialism is a policy of extending a nation’s authority by territorial acquisition or by establishing economic and political hegemony over other nations. That definition fits George Bush and Dick Cheney, and even though John McCain admits voting with George 90% of the time, he hasn’t crossed the threshold of imperialistic tendencies.

Barbara West’s Republican adulterated bias was orchestrated to poison the minds of her viewers. The bipartisan following she had drawn to her reporting was betrayed by her need to protect her husband’s interest and the falling support for the Republican candidate for president. WFTV cosigned her attack by not publicly denouncing her attack on the Democrat candidate for president. WFTV was once my favorite local news channel, but now I don’t believe they can be trusted. If Barbara West didn’t have approval from WFTV News to use the tactics she used with Senator Biden, then she should be fired, and an apology should be publicly acknowledged from the network.
