Does it bother anyone else that Denver is going through some sort of "beautification" for the DNC convention? It seems to me that everything that's being done to improve our city should have been done before now and it should have been done for the people of Denver! Why is it that our local government all of a sudden has the money to make everything pretty for visitors but when we ask about such things they tell us it's not monetarily feasible? If they're still 40 million (or so) short of donations for this monstrosity that's going to be here in August, who's paying for all of this?
