Governor/VP Candidate Sarah Palin has been cleared of wrong doing by the troopergate investigation.

"Palin - running mate of Republican presidential candidate John McCain - violated no ethics laws, according to a report released by the state personnel board on the eve of Election Day. An earlier, separate investigation by the Legislature found that Palin had abused her office.

"There is no probable cause to believe that the governor, or any other state official, violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with these matters," the personnel board's report said."

Isn't it Interresting that this Investegation made the News from the TIME she was Nominated and Lasted right up until the DAY of the ELECTION??

Does ANYONE think that THIS was JUST co-incidence??

Michelle Obama is a beautiful, charming, intelligent lady...and as much as I really hate to even think this...Palin is a lady too, an annoying one and not as smart as Michlle Obama, but still a lady.

Michelle Obama could become the new Jackie Kennedy with her style, charm and smile. :)

Typical government efficiency is the reason why it took so long for this information to come out. News like this always comes at the very last minute.

I agree.
Michelle is easily as lovely as Jackie.
Actually, Palin's voice is not nice and I am so sick of hearing about Joe six pack, mavericks, lipstick and all those cliches that are probably suppose to bridge the gap between the elitist McCain to the common man.
At least the mud slinging is over.

The mud slinging has only just begun. I noticed that when President Bush won, the mud slinging didn't stop. It got worse. I have no reason to believe that, regardless who wins, it will get any better.

An earlier, separate investigation by the Legislature found that Palin had abused her office.
The investigation by the Legislative Council concluded last month that Palin abused her office by allowing her husband and staffers to pressure Monegan to fire the trooper, Mike Wooten. However, it upheld the firing because Monegan was an at-will employee.
Palin initially said she would cooperate with the Legislature's probe. But after she became John McCain's running mate, she said the investigation had become too partisan and filed an ethics grievance against herself with the personnel board.

Personnel board members are appointed by the governor, who can fire members for cause.

Mrs. Obama a lady... yea ok.. how many of you know that she worked at the same law firm with William Ayer's terrorist wife? Funny how that association and connection never hit the media, yet Palin has to defend herself from the troopergate issue....
