Among Conservatives Sarah Palin has a 69% approval rating.  The next highest is Mitt Romney with 12%.  Then Mike Huckabee with 11%.  Honestly, it was a breath of fresh air to be represented by such an honest, hardworking, level-headed, American woman for a change.  As my husband mentioned the other night, it wasn't Sarah Palin who hurt McCain's campaign, It was McCain who hurt Sarah Palin's campaign.  We can't wait for her in 2012.

For the rest of the conservative females out there, check out this:

Governor Palin is one of the few bright spots in an otherwise impotent Republican party.

Palin has a lot of criticism to disqualify. 99% of it invalid, but weak minded marshmallow-heads bought into it. She didn’t handle the tough questions as well as she could have. All she had to do was to point out WHY it’s significant that she’s so close to Russia – never did, and most people are not aware that the Gov. is in charge of the Nat. Guard, knows EVERYTHING they do, and they watch Russia like hawks from Alaska. Russian Subs in the waters, Military Bases, Planes in the air, Signal Intelligence Operations, Radar sites, Missile sites both ways, etc., etc., etc. Along with some European locations, Alaska is a hotspot for such activity. She SHOULD have said THAT. And the Magazines? FluffBrain Couric thinks she made a name for herself finally with that nonsense. Palin should have said she’s not interested in providing insignificant fodder for more meaningless criticism, so she’ll keep it to herself. The Bush Doctrine question? She should have said she’s not a member of his administration, nor is she running on the coattails of any of Bush’s beliefs . . . and what’s the purpose of the vague question? Surely Bush’s Doctrine doesn’t only cover War.

Tina Fey only made HERSELF look stupid. Whether I support Palin or not, Fey’s immaturity makes me sick. I used to like SNL, but it’s not entertaining to hear an hour-long Political message, and that’s what it’s become – more than ever. I’ll be sure never to watch or buy any movie/show/product she’s involved with.

I e-mailed her last week, thanking her for her run as VP and hoped she would run for President in 2012.. She is not perfect, but none of the other 44 have been either. I believe she would be a breath of fresh air..

I beleive that the GOP could have run Abe lincoln and Ike, and still would have lost. Sarah was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise tragic election.
She was perhaps the most ridiculed, and disrespected candidate ever. I don't think as a people we should take a person that has worked hard for her state and country, and make her the punch line to any number of stupid jokes. She should not have done an interview on CBS as it was obvious a year ago, that CBS is an extension of the DNC.
When we have stripper contests for Sarah lookalikes, and make porno's with Sarah lokalikes and call it nailin palin, I would not be hopeful that Sarah Palin would ever submit herself to that degradation. We should be ashamed as a people that this has happened!

"Regarding the reported Africa gaffe, Palin said, "And never, ever did I talk about, well, gee, is it a country or is it a continent? I just don't know about this issue. So I don't know how they took our one discussion on Africa and turned that into what they turned it into ... Along those same lines, of course, was the criticism that supposedly I didn't know who the participants in NAFTA were."

For the record, I'm impressed with Palin, her successes, her intelligence, her ability to relate to common people, her strength, her even-keeled non-emotional temperament, etc. (The pathetic childish attacks on her only revealed the LACK of intelligence on the part of the idiots attacking her.)

BUT . . . I never said I felt she was prepared to be President - MUCH more so than Training-Wheel Obama, but not in general in my opinion. If she makes the efforts, she may be a good candidate in 4 or 8 years. Had something happened to McCain in office, I’m sure his staff would carry-out his vision with Sara on their shoulders (as SHE HERSELF pointed out).

Sadly, there aren’t too many people with the amount and diversity of experience that McCain had. And we needed that NOW more than ever.
