Sarah Palin

Among Conservatives Sarah Palin has a 69% approval rating. The next highest is Mitt Romney with 12%. Then Mike Huckabee with 11%. Honestly, it was a breath of fresh air to be represented by such an honest, hardworking, level-headed,
American woman for a change. As my husband mentioned the other night, it wasn't Sarah Palin who hurt McCain's campaign, It was McCain who hurt Sarah Palin's campaign. We can't wait for her in 2012.
For the rest of the conservative females out there, check out this:

DOOMSDAY
By
Wendy, a cancer fighter
Gloom is all around us.
Darkness fills the air.
The television’s right.
The end is drawing near.
The embodiment of evil
On us has set his sight.
Any glimmer of hope
Died on election night.
No one’s ever happy.
I just don’t understand
Why those who say they’re
“poor”
Have luxuries on demand.
They can’t afford healthcare
And food, they’re not to blame.
They have blue ray, blue
tooth,
And X-Box video game.
They charge up credit cards
And take out great big loans.
But when they have to pay,
They always gripe and moan.
We’ve no stove or furniture.
Heat and air, neither of which
We have. Our walls are
crumbling.
The “poor” call US the rich.
All the leeches sucking
On the few who do sustain,
It won’t be very long
‘Til we all go down the drain.
Don’t strive for something
better.
Working hard is dumb.
The government will steal it,
And give it to the bums.
Everyone wants “change”,
A “change” that’s not defined.
The “change” we’re gonna get
Will put us more behind.
There are no right and wrong,
Morality on the shelf.
Nothing matters now.
It’s everyone for himself.
This “fine” new president
Will shorten all our days,
But nothing really matters
‘Cause I’m dying anyways.
He can destroy the world
However he may choose,
But in the end I know
That he will finally lose.

Governor/VP Candidate Sarah Palin has been cleared of wrong doing by the troopergate investigation.
"Palin - running mate of Republican presidential candidate John McCain -
violated no ethics laws, according to a report released by the state
personnel board on the eve of Election Day. An earlier, separate
investigation by the Legislature found that Palin had abused her office.
"There is no probable cause to believe that the governor, or any other
state official, violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection
with these matters," the personnel board's report said."

Obama Should Immediately Withdraw his Candidacy for PresidentFor
Immediate Release: - 10/21/08 - Complete contact details and pdfs of
this press release and motions filed by plaintiff Berg today are at the
end of this article
(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania
– 10/21/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit
against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of
“qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced
today that Obama and tbe DNC “ADMITTED”, by way of failure to timely
respond to Requests for Admissions, all of the numerous specific
requests in the Federal lawsuit. Obama is “NOT QUALIFIED” to be
President and therefore Obama must immediately withdraw his candidacy
for President and the DNC shall substitute a qualified candidate. The
case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.
Berg stated that he
filed Requests for Admissions on September 15, 2008 with a response by
way of answer or objection had to be served within thirty [30] days. No
response to the Requests for Admissions was served by way of response
or objection. Thus, all of the Admissions directed to Obama and the DNC
are deemed “ADMITTED.” Therefore, Obama must immediately withdraw his
candidacy for President.

This is one of those cases where it would seem quality should count far and wide over quantity. Princess the dead goldfish, rest in peace, but you don't get to vote.
A while back someone had mentioned something about people yelling "kill him" at a McCain / Palin rally. I hadn't heard anything of the like, so I decided to do a little digging. As much as I don't like the opponent, that would be totally inappropriate. I've looked around and the secret service says that the allegation is unfounded. In other words, we don't know who heard or thought they heard what, but the secret service did not hear anyone shout "kill him".

All of the horsesqueeze we've been seeing about Sarah Plain getting Michael Wooten fired is bullhockey. Todd Palin (first dude of Alaska) got Michael Wooten fired. I can't say I blame him on this either. Michael Wooten was drinking alcohol in his patrol car, tasered his 10-year-old stepson and threatened to murder his estranged wife's father. Not the type of guy we need on a police force anywhere.Source ArticleHey Sarah, please spank Todd for being a bad boy and we'll call it even.

Barack 'Osama' on Rensselaer County ballots
Election officials on both sides of aisle insist error on absentee ballots was a typo

TROY — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's last name is
spelled "Osama" on hundreds of absentee ballots mailed out this week to
voters in Rensselaer County.
The misspelling, which elections officials on both sides of the aisle
insist was simply a typo, is causing embarrassment for the county.
Source ArticleSource Article Ballot"Embarrassment" or just telling it the way it is? Gee, I guess when you change your given name, using one close to that of those who would like to see us all dead isn't the best for a presidential candidate.
As I poke through the news today, I see all kinds of voter fraud going on. ACORN is at the helm of it. I'm thinking that they are probably not Republican voters.
"CLEVELAND - A man at the center of a voter-registration scandal
told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive
ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times, in
apparent violation of Ohio laws.
"Sometimes, they come up and bribe me with a cigarette, or they'll
give me a dollar to sign up," said Freddie Johnson, 19, who filled out
72 separate voter-registration cards over an 18-month period at the
behest of the left-leaning Association of Community Organizations for
Reform Now. "

"KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Officials in Missouri,
a hard-fought jewel in the presidential race, are sifting through
possibly hundreds of questionable or duplicate voter-registration forms
submitted by an advocacy group that has been accused of election fraud
in other states.
Charlene Davis, co-director of the election board in Jackson County, where Kansas City is, said the fraudulent registration forms came from the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. She said they were bogging down work Wednesday, the final day Missourians could register to vote."

"In Indianapolis, it was announced today that they have a total of
677,401 voter registrations. The problem is that Indianapolis only has
644,197 voter population. That means they have a registration of 105%."

Typical Liberal School System

A 5th grade kid in a Colorado school was suspended for wearing a homemade anti Obama shirt. The school had said to wear red, white and blue to show patriotism. The kid was told to either change his shirt, wear it in side out or be suspended. He choose suspension. Luckily his parents are standing behind him on this.
I've seen a blog on the subject with some liberal touting that since the kid is not old enough to vote, it is not a problem. I beg to differ since I've grown up knowing that I am a conservative. I remember being in the 4th grade and knowing why I wanted Regan to win. Not just that I wanted Regan to win, but I knew the issues. My kids know they are conservative and why. I'd bet this kid does too.

I blog on this subject because it has been a heated discussion around our house for the last week or so. My son has been asked to support "global warming" in an essay and of course we'd rather he just debunk the junk. We've gone back and forth between having him write a paper debunking and criticizing it or having him do the liberally biased paper. We have decided to have him to the liberal paper and then at the end of it put one extra paragraph plainly stating that those are not his beliefs and that he is very offended at having to support fiction. The kids at another school are having the same problem. They were asked to write a report critical of Sara Palin. The five Republicans in the room stood up and told the teacher if he'd like to debate the issue, they'd be more then willing. To which the teacher said "F@#$ You". They have filed complaints on his treatment of them and there is an investigation being conducted. Being that it is a college (liberal hot bed) I'm sure that nothing will happen. I do admire the student's bravery in taking on the subject.

Our recent financial crisis is actually looked upon as a good thing if you are a Democrat.
On Monday's "Anderson Cooper 360," after CNN senior political analyst David Gergen said "what happened over the weekend with the economy and the bottom falling out of the financial markets...is the opportunity for Obama to seize the momentum back on his side," Crowley actually said, "[J]ust
as foreclosures were showing up on B-17, or in the real estate section,
along comes this horrific headline out of Wall Street...I mean, this is what they wanted."Source Article
Interview Questions

Interview questions for Obama then for Palin.
First, Obama:
How does it feel to break a glass ceiling?
How does it feel to “win”?
How does your family feel about your “winning” breaking a glass ceiling?
Who will be your VP?
Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?
Will you accept public finance?
What issues is your campaign about?
Will you visit Iraq?
Will you debate McCain at a town hall?
What did you think of your competitor’s [Clinton] speech?
Now Palin:
Do you have enough qualifications for the job you’re
seeking? Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met
foreign leaders?
Aren’t you conceited to be seeking this high level job?
Questions about foreign policy
-territorial integrity of Georgia
-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO
-NATO treaty
-Iranian nuclear threat
-what to do if Israel attacks Iran
-Al Qaeda motivations
-the Bush Doctrine
-attacking terrorists harbored by Pakistan
Is America fighting a holy war? [misquoted Palin]

So when is Obama going to answer the "Palin" set of questions. After all, he is going for the presidency, she is only going for the Vice Presidency.

ABC played only the parts of the Palin interview they wanted to play. The parts that made her look bad.
"The double-standard Gibson applied to Palin, compared with the
uncritical media platforms repeatedly offered to Obama, who has had
zero executive experience running anything, was especially striking.
ABC and Gibson focused on Palin as if she were running right now for
the presidency rather than the vice presidency. He and other media
pundits, by contrast, have never asked the Democratic vice presidential
nominee, Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware, if he has ever had to make a
decision on anything.
Gibson’s aggressive approach appeared to take Palin by surprise: He
was clearly attempting to put her on point by presenting her as having
extreme religious views. This again, however, appears to be a
double-standard, as Palin grew up in the Assemblies of God, one of the
largest Christian denominations in America with 16 million members, and
is now a member of the Wasilla Bible Church. Even now, Obama has yet to
receive any comparable grilling on his 20-year attendance in the
congregation of the notoriously racist Rev. Jeremiah Wright."
