Matt 6:24 (NIV) "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate
the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and
despise the other. 25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your
life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will
wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important
than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap
or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are
you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add
a single hour to his life{[27] Or single cubit to his height}? 28 "And
why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow.
They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in
all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God
clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is
thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little
faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall
we drink?' or `What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all
these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But
seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will
be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its
own.
Matt 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you
will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who
asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will
be opened. 9 "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a
stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you,
then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your
children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to
those who ask him!
2Tim 4:2 (NIV) Preach the Word; be prepared
in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great
patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when men
will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own
desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say
what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away
from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in
all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist,
discharge all the duties of your ministry.
Isai 5:20 (NIV) Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight.
Rom
1:32 (NIV) Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do
such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very
things but also approve of those who practice them.
Levi 20:2
(NIV) "Say to the Israelites: `Any Israelite or any alien living in
Israel who sacrifices; any of his children to Molech must be put to
death. The people of the community are to stone him. 3 I will set my
face against that man and I will cut him off from his people; for by
giving his children to Molech, he has defiled my sanctuary and profaned
my holy name. 4 If the people of the community close their eyes when
that man sacrifices one of his children to Molech and they fail to put
him to death, 5 I will set my face against that man and his family and
will cut off from their people both him and all who follow him in
prostituting themselves to Molech.
Killing
babies in the womb for the sake of the convenience of the mother is the
same as sacrificing your children to the pagan god Molech in spiritual
terms. Obama and most of the Democrat party advocate this adhorent
practice. When we vote for these people that agree with these
practices, then we become guilty of approving of those who do evil, and
even giving them power and authority to act and enforce more ungodly,
immoral laws over us. Why would a "true" Christian want to do that?
