Hmm, now this is a hard question. I try to do nice things whenever I can for people. And I've had so many nice things done for me, I can't name only one!!

I've always tried to pay it forward. Doing good things for the people that need it. I never expect anyone to do anything nice back. That's not why I do nice things for them. I really can't say what I have done for others it seem too trivial. But I have friends that have help me so much after my surgery that I could never pay them back for all the support they gave me, but I keep trying.

I try to do nice things for people all the time. I live by a rule though when it comres to helping others. "Only help those who help themselves first". Weeds out the "panhandlers".

As for the nicest thing anyone has done for me?
My wife, when she married me nearly 19 years ago. :-)

The nicest thing that I have done for others was when we collected about 200 school books,Boxes of pens and pencils, some sporting equipment, building materials , and some fishing gear. loaded them on to my old boat and took them to Panama and gave them to a teacher. we also helped rebuild a one room school house for the village children There were 3 other boats that went along also and they were loaded down with stuff too.
what was done for me was I lost my anchor in Belize on a reef and a guy from the village gave me an old one to replace the one I lost. I still keep in touch with him.

This one woman at walgreens was in so much backpain that she was almost in tears. She was buying back patches and I knew she wouldn't be able to put them on herself. so i offered to put them on for her. She was really grateful because she had to work and she was so happy that i helped her out.

Nicest thing I ever did for someone was not track down bonkers/chuck and kick his scrawney butt.

Nicest thing ever done for me was provide me with bonkers/chucky/boohoo's address :)
