I see a trend of High School students trick-or-treating. Last night after the little kids were finished for the night, a whole different SCAREY bunch of kids were ringing doorbells.
I was sitting on the porch with a few neighbors, and along came several groups of teenagers. The guys were dressed as something frightening, and the girls...the girls were barely dressed. One of our neighbors who has a 2 year old girl asked how parents could let their daughters out half naked. I laughed at him, and told him they don't go OUT looking like that...they change somewhere along the way.
At least the scarey, slutty brigade waited till all the little ones were in for the night!
Same old same old....repeated topics, and no comment posters........
Can someone knock for me when my once favorite place to hang out is back to it's original splendor??????

We want to hear your opinion...Do you want to hear ours? Enableing comments is an option, and some bloggers choose not to allow comments on their blogs. If you do want us to be able to respond to you, follow the directions below.
I think the new bloggers do not know how to turn on comments.
To turn on comments:
Go to: My Blog or Start a Blog.
Click on Settings: There will be a box that says enable comments, and one that says email me when a comment is posted.
That way we can respond!!!!!!!!!
Have fun!
Do you remember when: "Just what I needed" was your favorite song by the Cars ? Now it is synonomous with Circuit City. INXS "What you need" = Chevy. I saw a cookie comercial with Human Leagues "Don't you want me?". Does this make you remember your youth fondly, or does it cheapen your memories? Wish I could have remembered more songs that didn't have want or need in the title...but that would be a different blog.

What happened to the comments about the yard sale? If I remember correctly there were some comments that maybe the blogger wanted removed. It seems as though comments cannot be added. What is up with that? So now it is an advertisement? Can I advertise my community yard sale?

I just got a recorded message from Orange County school board. They are promoting TV turn off week. You guessed it. No electronic entertainment. I think I have a better chance of going off the diet coke. Will you give it a try?
Coke addict (diet)

Is there a 12 step program for diet Coke addicts? Between caffeine and nicotine I can't help myself! When I sleep until 10am on the weekends I wake up with a massive headache. I have deprived myself of 3-4 cans of diet coke and half a dozen cigarettes. I see that Coke has come out with Diet Coke with vitamins and minerals. I am scared! Has anyone tried it yet? I am afraid that my whole system will go haywire if I introduce a liquid of nutritional value. I can't remember the last time that I had a glass of water.

Does anyone remember the first rap song they ever heard? The one I remember is "Rapture" by Blondie. Is has come a long way since then. The song was catchy and popular. I don't remember any bad language, just good clean 80's fun. The first album I remember having a parental warning for language was The Clash London Calling. I am dating myself, but it's all for a good cause. LOL.
