as I watched the news sleepily tonight from my daybed with the announcement  Major  so and so was KIA  and  the newscaster said:  go to the blogs; well, I am lookin for it.

the one who said he had two teenage daughters, boy, oh boy I hope I am wrong.

I've been out of the loop here for a number of weeks. If in fact I may be the Alfadawg you are looking for I assure you I am alive and well. I do fit the profile, but many may. This dawg is o.k.!! I will be deploying real soon.

Jan 10th just cheaking this glad it wasn't your name I heard on fox... some Major ...glad esp. for yor kids. . . perhaps you will see my son who is a hop and skip away from Korea...another hot spot trying to keep neutral...but they are enjoyin their deployment family and all. Of course, a long ways from home...and yes, letters are great in a time like this. . . . so don't spect any but send some American things...

Never doubt the power of prayer and thanksgiving...for The U.S. of A. ....also thankful for any time that I would be able to spend with my grandchildren who are really really scattered.. ..all busy with their own lives.
