EDIT hum is not the attitude to have against this potentially dangerous presentation to be given at a public hearing on the matter for next week by Powertech Uranium Corp. This company  wishes to conduct mining in our own backyard!

Bringing awareness to one or two hundred persons is not the goal of GUARD or CARD....John Schreck, founder of Groups United Against Resource Destruction or GUARD states:

      "I am here to bring awareness to half a million people. I think it's goin to be a wild ride, and I am in it to the end."

     The Larimer County Commissioners are holding a public hearing on a proposal to mine for uranium in western Weld County @ 6:30 p.m. Monday the 25th of February.  Powertech, the adversary, is in a position of having millions of dollars to spend.It is goin to take a lot  of donations from at least 100,000 people at $5 per donation so that attorneys, a geologist, persons in our scientific community, and media such as this blog, news ads, radio, bring all of Northern Colorado to a point of awareness.

There is a bill sponsored by  our democratic Reps. John Kefalas and  Randy Fischer of Fort Collins to work out details to move forward this Wednesday p.m.  or meet its end in committee. [today] Rep. Frank McNulty of Highlands Ranch have expressed skepticism in previous hearings.Unquote article in the local free news. IT goes on:  

'MR. schreks property is 1,240 feet from the proposed mining sight. Unless a newsworthy topic is in ones' own backyard, people tend to EDIT-hum.

Key to this rebuttal of potentially contaminating ground water to us Coloradoans is sound scientific data, of  an acceptable risk assessment  We need this data...n o w.

The non-profit GUARD tax paperwork is complete.

Being from Nebraska where things are flat, we are born with a sense the water table affects domestic and agricultural use greatly. To solve the p'roblem of chemical run-off,   I have an idea of the format of puttin in 'a plastic bowl of sorts where the  oxygenated water process is to undergo a reverse ionization process to extract the uranium found under this property located by NUNN. [?]  The plastic bowl would prevent drainage into the surrounding ground , the excess taken by trucks...yes,  to where, that is the dilema..to the oceans?,...already polluted ...we are lucky the ocean gather up 3/4 of the Earths space.  The ocean life will likely  outlive us .

The mining problems in another locale should be an eye-opener when the mine was abandoned now causing  concern .for a burst of flooding to a trailor park...'Take out insurance it says:   ' Read the fine print, cause it likely will have 'preexisting'.....clauses."
