so I admit  I have  been  visiting and engrossed with this other sight  at  tagged; so, that I haven't popped in on the news, such that it  is . . .  can always go to CNN  Channel 9  and BBC if I wish to catch the headline! also do the later in the day t.v.  online viewing with a live  chat.

Admittedly, I am worried what will become of my t.v. watching when the new network comes out, almost like communism, I am thinking as a child: at least, my perception of what was communistic, is to have the government sticking their nose into personal lives in our homes...

Then  asking myself, 'what will  we do if the government starts taking a strong action on what we do, who we can talk to, and if and when it [e-mail, postal mail, et blog sights] will be monitored!'  Will we be taken out to dry?  I used to imagine a t.v  lens hidden away watching what we do, as if we are doin anything wrong or private... by  the way  the listening devices put on phones, cell, and e-mail is no joking matter.

                   R  Idol  Calls  Costing you?

Even when I tried to call on my home Q-West line to the 866 number, I got an interrupt on the matter of go to a different line and it will cost you %5.95  to VOTE  for the IDOL  Y o u can  g u e s s   what  I  did....hung  up, so NO I didn't vote, and that means America will have one less correct vote for my candidate...I will not let an unknown source get rich overnight at these calls  30 million or so at say:   $5.95 per call/vote time 30 million callers...well, someones getting very rich off of this line.

so wuts up?

Back in the vaudeville days I believe there were talent contests which boosted winners to some fame. People paid to go to the shows and vote for their fave. Not much changes over time, just the method and magnitude with which we act. I like American Idol. It's inert entertainment and that is refreshing. We don't always need "a message."

Never doubt the power of prayer and thanksgiving...for The U.S. of A. ....also thankful for any time that I would be able to spend with my grandchildren who are really really scattered.. ..all busy with their own lives. Sing with a grateful heart, God Bless America. And thanks to those defending it.
