very short.  how very hyppocritical of us to have the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, yet attemt to dictate who else in the world has nuclear capabilities.  it is likened to telling the party at the next table over how bad their hamburger is for them, while you sit eating your steak.

OMG political correctness again. Bad Americans picking on a poor little country whose only aim in life is to kill everyone in the United States. How politically narrow minded can one get concerning Iran, guess you want to have milk and cookies with them while they drop a few nukes on us huh? Remember Dec 7, 1941 you pay with blood unless you are prepared.

I don't remember "attacking" anyone Mike, I usually just ask questions
so folks can see the logic for themselves.

We don't "dictate" to the world who has or doesn't have nukes, Stan, just a few lunatics like Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela. If we had the ability to "dictate" to the world on that subject, believe me when I say that Russia and China would NOT have nukes (I don't like the fact that France has them either, personally).

Ask yourself this, Stan: Can the United States be TRUSTED to keep and responsibly use nuclear weapons?

Can Iran?
Can North Korea?
Can Hugo Chavez?

Do you see the difference between us and them, Stan, or has the media gotten to you, too?

If Iran had nukes, they would use them on 1.)Israel and 2.) The United States
(not necessarily in that order). They have PROMISED this, over, and over, and over.

Hope that answers your question, friend.

Truth and Flash - couldn't have said it better myself, or that nice! Stan, do you know why we have laws on who can and cannot own a firearm? It's because some people, by their words and actions have proven they cannot be trusted with weapons. So it is with Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela.

Look at India and Pakistan. Both have nukes. And they are now going through what the U.S. and the Soviet Union did during the Cold War. It's called mutually assured destruction.

life is not fair smart guy! You talk about the world as if it were your kids. If you really want powers like Iran, who have threatened to destroy you, not to mention Isreal, to have nukes, you should go live there for a moment and see how far you get with your 'fair' talk.

Yes, absolutely it's hypocritical... so what? I'd rather be on top than on the same playing field. I'll take every advantage I can to survive especially when put up against a facist regime like Iran or any other Islamic nation.

Get your head out of your exit hole. The world isn't daffodils and chocolate covered mints.

Yeah, let Iran have nukes.... its only fair.

Ahmadinejad has sworn to wipe Israel off the map.

Thats OK... Heck, we used the A - bomb on Nagasaki and Heroshima.

Let them have nukes, and they should be able to use a couple of them on selected enemies....

Its only fair

Come on now guys, Stanley has a point. It’s kind of like all these gun-toting nutjobs who think that they should be able to own and carry a gun just because they obey the laws and act responsibly. Who are they to say that convicted violent criminals shouldn’t have the same right? Isn’t it kind of hypocritical for us to say that the serial killer shouldn’t be allowed to carry a gun, while we holster our own?

Stan

I would implore you to look into the 12th Imam.

Your comparing apples to oranges.

There's a huge difference between a secular government, and kneeling five times a day.
