Back in the day, I went to Jefferson High School. One day, I asked school staff, why we didn't have a school mascot at the games. That's when I became Jefferson High School's first school mascot. I was one of the school's mascots between 1992 and 1994. I made a costume of "St. Jeff" for school spirit. I had fun being a school mascot, and everyone like the mascot and knew who I was. I went to all of the high school games back then, and we cheered on the football team, which was pretty good. We were in the playoffs in 1992 and we pulled an upset in the playoff games, but lost in the finals. I went to the basketball games too, and we had a good team. We were in the playoffs in 1993, until we got knocked out. Also, I was in the homecoming parade, and was asked to ride on the parade float. Me and my best friend rode on the float with a bunch of cheerleaders. BEST DAY EVER!!! I also got a plaque for being "St. Jeff". I donated the costume to the school on 05/05/05 and it was displayed at the front entrance of the school in the trophy case with the plaque. So, if you've ever wondered how Jefferson High School in Edgewater, Colorado got it's mascot, now you know. I graduated from Jefferson High School in 1994.
