Minuteman Project Receives Approval!

Minuteman Express News  - 2007 Cal Trans approves "Adopt-A-Highway" territory for Jim Gilchrist's Minuteman Project The Minuteman Project received state approval for an "Adopt A Highway" sign last week. The California Department of Transportation (Cal-Trans) granted Gilchrist, founder and president of the Minuteman Project, unanimous approval for the adoption of an important two-mile stretch of highway. The sign is located at Barranca Parkway exit on northbound Route 133 in Irvine, Ca., about four miles before the Route 241 toll gate. The area is a heavily traveled highway. "I am elated!" Gilchrist said. "I presented the requested information and identified myself as the President of the Minuteman Project. I was treated very well by Cal Trans. The person handling the application is a legal immigrant from Vietnam." "Millions of travelers will see our Minuteman Project sign proudly displayed. The message is going out," he said. Community participation in the maintenance of something as public as a highway is a milestone. The Minuteman Project, founded by Jim Gilchrist just over three years ago, continues to make a profound positive impact in many communities. Jim Gilchrist and his Minuteman Project have made significant strides forward. He has recently created an open forum message board called the "Command Center" on the Minuteman Project website (www.minutemanproject.com), giving a voice to those who had no voice. Gilchrist spoke to millions of viewers on the Fox and Friends television program and New York City's radio station, WOR, two weeks ago while on a sponsor-paid speaking tour in the "Big Apple". As president of the Minuteman Project. Gilchrist has encouraged the Minuteman Project team to develop a strong national voice. "That is exactly what our Founding Fathers expect of us," he said. Those interested in having a Minuteman Adopt A Highway sign placed on their highway please contact the Minuteman Project for details. Minuteman Express News  - 2007

wouldn't it be funny if this was the part of the highway the backwets keep getting run over at and the minutemen go out there and scap their useless bodys off the road so the poor buzzereds don't get killed while eating the greasy flesh off them while their polluting our roads.

4.7% most all service industry. not very good paying jobsaveraging $16.47 an hour driven down by the 2 for one deal. and the greed of employers and the federal government do nothing.

thats pretty good rate then. about national average which is 95% or work force working.

western slopers are in a perfect bubble...and ritter wants to pop it.

you know the economy is the thing liberals havent managed to kill yet. the clinton years dismantled much of our institutional infrastructure - like police and army and border agency ... much of the early 911 debt was the money available to each and every county in the entire usa to rebuild and upgrade their communications, hire more staff, expand office, jails and vehicles etc

we really have come a long way since 911 - there is a lot to be thankful for. though i know you all see many problems still over there ....

16.47 dollars is significantly less than used to be which was around $20.00

there was a big article in one of the f range papers today saying udall supports unions and he wants to make it the theme of the senate race.

but so far he doesnt want to discuss it face to face with his opponents. so guess he will just be interviewed in the papers....
