Drill Here, Drill Now Timeline: May 12 to October 1

As you watch this video timeline of the "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" movement, remember that your voice made this possible. The phone calls, letters, and emails to your elected officials have made a difference.

This video is a testament to the power and potential of citizen leaders to create positive change.

While today we celebrate the offshore drilling ban being lifted, remember there is still a lot more work to be done to move America toward energy independence.

Thanks to the 1.5 million Americans who signed the "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" petition for making this possible.

It is important for the libtards to understand (if they're able) that gas prices have dropped as much as a doller per gallon, without supply being increased at all.

It is only the threat of increasing our own supply that has caused prices to fall.

Thank who you will, just don't thank a Democrat, because they had nothing to do with it.

i think the price went down because the value of the companies stocks all around the world began dropping drastically during the last few months flash.

credit crunch effects everything. even 'big' oil...due to high cost of permits (thanks ritter) for an example, insurance for employees, cost of their own fuel, higher prices for equipment/repairs and higher salaries all insist the price of oil stay above $80 for a man to earn a dollar. they will stop exploring/drilling/refining/freighting to the pump.

it is probably the small numbers of gasoline distributors in the west and no competition there which drove the price up to begin with ....and that is topped off by high federal/state taxes on gasoline too.

i could go on all night. with the global financial crisis in place nobody is going to do anything. not stock food shelves, not haul gasoline to the pump, no clothes, its a long list of things we consume everyday. $$$$$ runs the world. all week the french government economist person has done a great job of explaining it. the new conservative french president picked a winner when he installed her into office.

personally i wonder if the fanny/freddy macs and agreements with the u.s. congressional black caucus through the last 30 years has not done the world in.

the congressional black caucus has at least played a part in it here as well as the illegals.
